The Underrated Characters Appreciation Thread

riley well the first time i watched the seasons with riley i didnt like him i thought he was boring but when i rewatched them i felt sorry for him buffy was always pulling away and she didnt even know she was..

kenedy at first i didnt like her but i got used to her and she really cares about willow witch is what matters

connor ah lol i really didnt like connor at first when he came back and even less when he was with cordy but then in season 5 and in the comics i love him he was and is funnier and way better to watch hes not all depressed about daddy and thinking the world hates him

i always loved gunn less i think when he got all the laywer stuff in his head i guess i liked him better when he was just him

Sunday: awesome. should have been around more...

Riley: I like Marc, but didn't like this character. Too all american GI Joe. kinda boring. and even in a world of demons, unrealistic

Kennedy: BRAT! wish i could have used a different word....

Kate: again, blah. didn;t really care what happened to her.

Harmony: annoying, esp. in buffy. In angel, a little better, but not profoundly useful.

Nina: Didn't like her. and especially didn't like her with angel. to go from buffy to cordy to nina? what were the writers thinking?!

Gunn: Not enough there to make me like him. He just really stayed below my radar. didn't care one way or another.

Darla: on buffy: blah. On angel-much much better. the flashback scenes are my favorite with her.

Connor: Liked connor. more than most i guess. hated that he got with Cordy...so icky.

I know Riley seems to be universally loathed amongst the fans, but I don't think he really got annoying or bland until AFTER they kicked him out of the military and he turned into just Buffy's boyfriend with no real direction, just arm candy for Buffy.
