What really disturbed me was in "The Girl In Question" Angel is at a club in Rome and asked the bartender if she'd seen Buffy. He describes by saying she has blonde hair with BLUE eyes. UGH! ITS GREEN!!! YOU TWO ARE SOUL MATES AND YOU DONT EVEN KNOW HER EYE COLOR! Apparently all that time Angel and Buffy were together and in love, he was busy staring at her chest and not gazing lovesick into her eyes. Maybe if he'd drawn some pictures of her with pastels instead of charcoal he would've remembered. Way to go with the photographic memory, Angel. It's never registered with me that SMG has green eyes. But now that you point it out, that is an interesting continuity error. But remember, at this point Angel hasn't seen Buffy for nearly three years, the last time he saw her was when she was resurrected. Maybe this just shows that Angel has started to forget the details of Buffy, and he's just obsessed because he doesn't want anyone else to have her. I forget if it was him or Spike that says "can't we just put her in a little box somewhere so that no one can touch her" or something. -edit- OOPS! I forgot about End Of Days. >.< Silly me. Well, like you said, maybe at this point he was away from her for so long that all he wanted to do was revel in her (lack of) rack.

Of course! Holy water! Emmie you're a genius. Now that scene don't have to bother me anymore. Sorry but I can't buy this. If it was holy water then how come there was no smoking? How come Spike's face wasn't covered in burns and boils? When Buffy slams a bottle of Holy water in the Turok-han's face, you can see red splotches where the water fried his skin. Does this mean Spike has harder skin than the Turok-han? Spike's already known to be more flame retardant than other vamps. Now you say he has a greater resistance to Holy water? Maybe Spike is some kind of Super Vamp? Or maybe God thinks he's just too pretty to get mutilated that way. Maybe the Holy Water was diluted in water so it wouldn't mess him up too badly. And about the eye color again... Spike should have said something. Right before he was incinerated by the necklace thing, Buffy and Spike were gazing into each other's eyes.

Vampires not breathing was one of the most consistent inconsistencies in the series, with Spike being the worst example as he is constantly smoking which requires breath last time I checked. This stuff rarely bugs me too much cause it's background stuff and can be just written off, but by far the worst offense is in Bring On The Night, where he is TORTURED by DROWNING. Wtf? Maybe his restoration of his soul restored some of his lung power? Yeah, I'm reachin'. I guess the writer forgot Spoike's a vampyre. I saw somewhere where it explains how Spike smokes without being able to breathe. I'll try to find it! I found this: The reason you inhale when you smoke is that the illia on your lungs have a larger surface are than your mouth, ie greater absorbtion of nicotene and other fine smoking goodness. If you hold smoke in your mouth without inhaling, you still absorb nicotene but not as much. maybe the Vampire metabolism means you dont need to inhale, or maybe his smoking his a force of habit from his mortal days.

Then how do you explain the **panting** of Angel and Spike when they run/fight?? I mean, it was written in the storyline that vampires cannot breathe, but it was never pressed that the actors themselves should try not to show breathing, let along panting

And about the water. perhaps it wasn't holy water, but magic icky painful water. or both

An example of Spike panting is in 'Intervention' when he's running after the Buffybot in the cemetary and runs into Anya and Xander. He's breathing very deeply in that scene.
