I feel the same as you! I love all the characters as well. Especially the core 4 that started it all. It's really hard for me to pick a fave, I just love them all! Well, sans Kennedy and Warren of course, but that is another story...LOL!

What a coincidence -- I also just bought season six the other day. I'm on the 3rd disc myself.
No, it's not wierd for you to love all the characters. I do, too! (But Faith is loved just a bit more when it comes to me.)

LOL. I can't really pick one character either. I mean, Buffy is the logical choice and she's so funny, but Willow is so cute with her little (Extremely big) magicks and Xander...See my dilemma. I love alot of characters, too.

I always find most of the Season 6 episodes to be rather boring. I generally watch Buffy every year, but recently I've found myself just watching Seasons 1-5 every year and then Season 6-7 every other year. Otherwise I will sometimes fall asleep or get too bored while watching the last two Seasons.

Around mid-way, nothing really exciting happens, there are no groundbreaking episodes. They both hit a dry-spot: Almost everything between Smashed and Hell's Bells; Pretty much everything from Potential to Lies My Parents Told Me. Everything moved too slowly, especially the plot.

A lot of people have a particular season they dislike. I love every season of Buffy and Angel, they're all near and dear to my heart in their own ways. There's certain episodes I don't like, or like less, but not whole seasons.

I don't even hate any episodes. There are those that I dislike a lot compared to others, but overall, I've never truely hated an episode. They all have a couple moments that make them worth watching.

I think that after Joyce's death in season 5, Buffy lost the comedy. Sure we still laughed, but we rarely had a smile on our lips for several scenes in a row.
After the second half of season 2(Angelus) until the beginning of season 4, Buffy was pretty depressing, but there were always a silverlining. Season 4 was fun and light and so was the first hald of season 5. But then Buffy and the viewers had to grow up.
Buffy died in season 1, she came back. Jenny died, but left the cure on the disc, Angel was sent to hell but came back, Faith went evil but had regrets. Then came Joyce, and she didn't come back. And then Buffy's second death, Spuffy, innocent potentials died...
Season 6 & 7 are great, no question about it, but the viewers always had in mind that in the next scene(as the next day in life) something horrible could happen.

It's an interesting point, that the middle third of seasons 6 & 7 hit a slump. Looking at the other seasons, some of the big moments for the middle of the season: Season 2: Angel becomes Angelus Season 3: Helpless, Doppelgangland, Faith flirts with the dark side then decides to go steady Season 4: Hush episode, the Initiative turning on Buffy, the return of Faith and the glory of body-snatching Season 5: Riley's departure, Spike's confession 'o love, Glory shenanigans and Joyce's death Versus Season 6: from Wrecked, Gone, Doublemeat Palace, Dead Things, Older and Far Away, As You Were and Hell's Bells - I can't pick out one concept from any of these episodes that's awesome Season 7: from Sleeper thru LMPTM, the highlights for me are the fight scene in Showtime, Xander's words to Dawn in Potential, and Storyteller as a whole (when I'm in the mood for Andrew), Season 7 doesn't start to get really good for me til Faith shows up. AtS season 4 got better when Faith arrived too. Hmmm...so the lesson from this exercise is to add Faith. What other shows could we improve by adding Faith? I bet Alias season 5 would have been a hell of a lot better if they'd added Faith.

The humor always keeps even the bad episodes afloat and makes them worth to watch. Like All The Way, probably the worst episode ever filmed for any Joss show. The humor is always dead on.

VampSlayer, just wondering why is there a ... frowny face in the title of the thread? From your post it looks like you're really loving Season 6.

I bet Alias season 5 would have been a hell of a lot better if they'd added Faith. Lol i love it faith is great but in small doses I do think the season 6 hate goes deeper than that it had no real stand out episodes apart from OMWF, Buffy spent most of the season being depressed-o girl and that really drags down the mood And the Buffy spike sex scenes got a bit much after a while So heres my little list of problems.. To many Buffy spike sex scenesNot enough deep or outstanding episodesNo Giles or faith or JoyceDawn whined to much The rape was going to far (IMO)We never saw them happy like the scoobies used to beBuffy going on about just wanting to feel got really old really quickAnd last of all this season had so many stupid and corny momentsBut even after all that i still loved this season

Season 3: Helpless, Doppelgangland, Faith flirts with the dark side then decides to go steady . Can I just say that I love your way with words? That line is brilliant.

For the past couple months I have been trying to remember his name, and I came up with Kenny and Benny. xD I dont know why I did. And that's one reason why I bought season six, so that I could see his name. But now I know for a fact that it is Clem.!!!! yay! And I finished season...again, last night!!!! I also took a liking to Anya in season six now. xD And I have always loved Tara, I love her quote. "Why use magic when you can do things naturally?" - - Tara
