Your favorite character's greatest hits

OK, you get 3 episodes to show someone whos never seen Buffy or Angel that one of your favorite characters in the Buffyverse is the best. character. EVER. What do you choose? Ill start with Wesley:

1. Apocalypse Now-ish: Wesley is the first character in the verse to figure out that shotguns are better than crossbows. Also, "leave them on." Geez.

2. Spin the Bottle: The funniest character and a complete bad-ass all in the same episode. Plus arm swords!

3. Guise will be Guise: Really good example of how ineffectual and effectual Wesley is capable of being in a span of 40 minutes.

Now name one episode where you want the same character to appear as the worst. character. EVER:

Consequences: Wesley ruins the day and is the catalyst for Faith's downward spiral. Moron.

Anya

selfless - the awesomeness of her and Hallie when see her past, and her fight with Buffy.

Hell's bell's - Her walk down the isle, and her vows

OMWF - her and xander's song, and the bunny song


Consequences: None that i can think of.

warzone - established as a badass leader of a group of misfit vampire hunters. also has to stake his sister, which is a catalyst for his entire character arc.

players - gunn can be intelligent. gets laid with the gorgeous gwen. and he can also kick asian ass apparently.

that old gang of mine - gunn walks in two worlds and has to choose one.



A Hole In The World/Shells - inadverntly caused fred to die. gets shanked. is in utter shame.

I know its only 3 moments to choose from, but I wanted to add for honorable mention Gunn fighting all the senators vamps solo in 'Not Fade Away'. He was "on fire". But your choices were awesome for his most important character developments, artiswar.

Family: How can you not feel for her in that episode?

Tough Love: She doubts that she's loved, she stands up against a Hell God and she adorable while being crazy. Also, we see that her girlfriend is awesome too.

Tabula Rasa: She cute and funny, and show trumendous strength to break it of with an addict she loves. And I can't imagine how scared she was that Willow would thrall her into coming back.

Can I do more than one character? Because I like Spike too?

EDIT:

Worst episode... I have no idea. Mostly she blends into the background, but I can't think of an episode that's she's an unlikable character. I guess when Oz has to leave again, because Willow found Tara.

Yes. I was planning on doing more characters later, myself. Cordelia:

1. You're Welcome: Perfect summation of her character in AtS. Katana action!
2. Homecoming: Perfect summation of her character in BtVS. Spatula action!
3. Rm W/A Vu: Not some whiny little cry-buffy.

Worst? Ignoring all the Pod!Cordelia stuff in AtS S4, the worst episode is

Benediction: The Cordy cleansing Conner scene is terrible, and the club vision scene is awkward. The god awful Peter Pan hair is also in full effect here.

Spike (I know, how am I suppose to choose??? I narrowed it down to the Buffy eps)

For a bad guy/outsider/lover/allie, he sure got a lot of episodes.

Fool for love - To show my friend that Spike can be a bad ass and a good listener. And did I mention, hot.

The gift - The speech he gave Buffy, about how she made him feel like man, that makes me tear-eyed every time. That look in his eyes then, and when he realizes that he can't save Dawn, and when he sees Buffy dead.... Can someone please give James Marsters an oscar?

Lies my parents told me - Because you can't watch it without feeling sorry for that ruthless killer. And surprise that he didn't kill Robin.

EDIT: Without a soul: Seeing red. Sure he gets a soul afterwards but for the people who only watch that episode, Spike's a rotten bastard.
With a soul: Potential. There's no need to twist the girl's arm Spike! Some might say that his behavior in the Bronze in Beneath You is his worst, but hey, he had just gotten the soul back and was adjusting.

I'd go with Spikey too:

1-Spike's scene in ''Touched'' when he finds Buffy in the abandoned house. Best love speech, hands down. The way he defends Buffy is so touching, and when he fights with Faith, it's great to watch.

2-Fool For Love-Just the whole background of Spike and how he was, how he killed the Slayers and what a bad ass he was, in his heyday.

3-School Hard. Spike's first appearance, and he burned up the Annoying One. Fantastic episode.

Anne - She's so brave. She's grieving, she's alone, but she won't back down.

The Gift - She kicks ass, saves her sister and dies a heroic death. How can one not love her in thet episode?

Tabula Rasa - To show her fun side.

EDIT: Worst episode. Empty places. Buffy comes of as bossy and ruthless. Although she finds the scythe eventually, someone who only watched that episode of all 144 would think that she's a coldhearted stupid bitch.

When she was bad, runs a close second, but even in that ep we can feel for her.

BtVS: Anya

The Body- Her speech was heartbreaking and it was hard to watch her feeling these emotions for the first time.

Entropy- "The mature solution is for you to spend your whole life telling stupid, pointless jokes, so that NO one will notice that you are just a scared, insecure little boy!" Pretty much everything after Hell's Bells in Season 6. I loved how she stood up to Xander, he was being an ass.

Selfless- Loved watching her epiphany. "My whole life, I've just clung to whatever came along."

AtS: Lilah

Sleep Tight- The whole scene with her and Angel in the bar is great. This is where she became my favorite character. "It is all about making the rest of your eternal life miserable."

Deep Down- Lilah comes out on top! She kills Linwood! Total badass.

Home- "But it means something that you tried" A great end to such a great character and great relationship.

Choices- Willow gives up an IV league education to aid Buffy. Self-less.

Bargaining pt. 1- She showed that she is a good leader.

Tough Love- Standing toe-to-toe with a god. That was Badass.

1. Reunion: The final five minutes should be taught in english classes about how to do a proper anti-hero.
2. Passion: Angelus at his sadistic best.
3. City Of...: 5 minutes in and I already like him more than I ever did on Buffy.
