People were saying such godawful things about Buffy after she beat Batman. I like Batman and everything, but he has no superpowers! And he's been around for 70 years.
The great thing about Buffy is that she is a new superhero. She is modern and she reflects the modern way of life. Just because she didn't appear in the 1930's doesn't mean that she isn't a viable superhero. Buffy couldn't have existed then.
I found alot of the remarks made about Buffy in the comments section to be sexist and disgusting.
Buffy IS a superhero, she is my favorite and she could take down anyone they put against her. Why? Not only is she amazingly badass, but she has a bunch of amazingly badass friends to help her out.
