I think Buffy can beat Superman,but would have to go against Spiderman or Wolverine.I'm not sure she could beat either one

Wow..did the Blonde Complainer really beat out the Dark Knight? sheesh..I love Buffy but come on, Batman is like..BATMAN!! haha
I don't know too much about Silver Surfer, but the little I do know leads me to believe he would win.

I'll be honest, I voted for both Buffy and Batman in that one round. I <3 them equally. But I voted for Buffy in all the others.
I think it's cool that she won! But a lot of people are bitca-ing about her winning over the big guns like Batman, Superman and Spiderman.
Why does Buffy deserve to win? Some people were voting based on who they think would beat the other person in a fight, but I understood the tourney to be about who was the "Best" superhero. And what does it mean to be a superhero? Well saving lives and the world comes to mind. So how many times has Buffy saved the world? How many lives has she saved and made better? How much has she sacrificed for others?
The people who just denounced her as a girl who goes around staking vamps in a mini-skirt REALLY don't get what Buffy is about.

I honestly was a bit shocked that Batman didn't trounce Buffy like he did in a similar tournament last year. But I don't like all the ignorant criticisms of Buffy throughout this year's tourney. |

Buffy was right to Win, Spider man could have won but i think Buffy is the better hero. She doesn't do what she dose because she will get anything out of it, she still has real life problems and is very true to the human nature, she died for the world and for her sister. She never really gives up. There for i think its fitting that Buffy would get the title as best hero really.
Sure Spider man is really similar to her, but he isn't her. I think she has given up way more then him. I mean he chose to be a superhero, well he didn't chose to get bitten but he chose to use his power for good. But never had a choice, she could have tried to walk away like Faith but she knew she would have to accept her destiny and she never gave up [well unless you count the time she did give up when Glory had Dawn...]
She is a true human natured hero.
