I've just read this short article that was posted on Whedonesque and am in a current state of shock! Who is this person, who wrote the article, and how on earth can they say that buffy died after high school??? www.collegeotr.com/yale_university/top_10_tv_shows_killed_by_college_10272The show continued for a further 4 seasons after the gang left Sunnydale High, yet apparently the show started to suck after that??!!! Personally Season 6 is just about my favourite season. So my question is where is this Ivy Sensation person and who wants to give her a piece of our minds??!!! lol Thankfully some of the comments back up Buffy! *phew*

No way.
My favourite seasons are 5, 6, 7 and 3. That's 3/4 of my favourite seasons being after college. So I doubt it crashed after college.

Gasp! She did not crash after season 3! The show was the strongest in Season 5 (IMO), and the 6th season was my favorite season. Silly, silly, mortals.

Buffy had one of its best (and in a lot of people's opinions, the best) Seasons after Season 3, Season 5. So I hardly think it's fair to say the show crashed after its 3rd season. Season 4 had wonderful stand alones, as did Season 6 (which also finished strongly). Season 7 is hit or miss with a lot of fans, but it certainly wasn't bad television.

That is one of the stupidest lists I've ever seen. Only ONE season was focused on college, and while it wasn't the greatest season, mostly due to the Initiative story, it still had great moments. I just find it funny that it says the show "soon died", but there were more post-high school seasons.
It's pretty obvious that whoever made this list probaby didn't watch any of the shows.

This list p*ssed me off when I first read it on Whedonesque. Shallow garbage.

I don't think its shallow garbage its one person opinion right? The person that wrote this just must not have liked the after school season.
I love season 6 so i disagree with it. Season 5 was brilliant. Season 4 i think they where trying to find footing on this new ground. Season 7 like its been said was hit and miss. But still epics.

I get the feeling that the person who wrote this article was watching a different show if they think it died after high school.

Personally i think the high school years where the best years in Buffy. Not to say there was no brilliant after high school episodes. There was just a different feeling to high school all that innocences and purity they had was all lost by the time high school was over. They had been through more and had grown up alto. Some don't like change and it was a big change moving from high school to college.

Well, my favorite seasons are seasons 1-3 and 5, so i feel like it's a pretty mixed bag. I'm not a huge fan of season 4, parts of season 6 were really gross. I still don't know how I feel about season 7. I'm not saying I agree with this person, only that I liked Buffy better when it was more emotional than sexual, and the focus in seasons 4 and 6 were just beyond what I was comfortable with.
