Buffy/Angel DVD/Magazine collection in Newsagents!

Did anyone else see an advert for this? Buffy and Angel are being released in one of those DVD weekly sets with a companion magazine. The first issue's out now with Buffy season 1 episodes 1-4. I'm going to buy the first one for £1.99 but usually they're £7.99. I just thought it was cool that they're doing this and that there was a Buffy advert on the TV. Go on www.buffycollection.com

I got back today and this was the first thing I saw on TV! was good to hear the Buffy music on TV, I'd like to get them all but £7.99...


I also noticed Buffy back on Sky 2 ! which was great, so far we've got Buffy on TV, a Buffy game and magazines..hopefully a movie soon xD

I almost fell off the sofa when I saw that advert and then yesterday I also saw that Sky Two are showing them again!!! This is great stuff...can't believe it! But I'm not paying £7.99 per issue when all I really want is the magazine

The magazine contains 15 pages. I only have one copy in front of me, but
this contains a commentary and a script as special features.

15 pages, I don't think so. I wouldn't be surprised if I'd sit and nod when I read it, already knowing most.

Here in Italy they're releasing a DVD Buffy collection, too.
DVDs are not so well done, but then, it's better than nothing.

And I'm happy 'cause it means Buffy's still famous ^^

I'm not paying £7.99, but will get the first one to see what it's like. I have all the DVD's though. Buffy game, magazines, Buffy back on Sky Two. Hopefully a movie will come of it soon if Buffy gets stirred up again.

really want the proper boxset but can in no way justify spending £120 pound on dvds ive seen before

I know the feeling. I was sitting with my little sis (Both dedicated Buffy fans) and we were just talking to each other when we heard the Buffy Theme. Both our heads whipped round to the TV. Captivated for the duration of the advert of course.

Its a shame they are as pricey. I mean £7.99 for four episodes that I already have each week is a little too much for me. But I really want to collect them.

Im glad the interest in Buffy is being sparked up again. Hopefully a movie we shall get

I don't get what the point of these things are (they've done them in the past with Star Trek: TNG and The X-Files)
Why don't you just buy the proper DVD boxsets? It'd be a lot cheaper, the Buffy sets are £15 each on Play.com
Whereas this way it would be upto about £40 per season, and would take up about 4x the space on your shelf

ooh so you get some crap magazine that comes with it, yeah I'm really sure that'll be worth the massive extra costs
