I just a learned something new! I always thought when Buffy called Caleb a "Women hating jerk" in Touched that it sounded stupid. I watched Touch during it's orginal airdate, but I just found out that when it aired, she called him a "Women hating prick" and they edited/dubbed it for syndication and it ended up on the DVD. Pretty cool, huh? The explosion from Touched is also edited out on the Region 1 DVD. www.imdb.com/title/tt0533514/alternateversions |

Does that mean that Europe got the full version or is region 2 edited as well? Its editited unfortunatly !  They shouldnt have editited it ! he was a Prick ! |

Wow...prick...yeah that's clearly better. Wonder why they kept it edited for the dvd release.
EDIT: Wait...my bad...That clearly is Touched I was talking about... that explosion isn't there anymore? That's pretty weird.

The Mayor being called 'Dick" was a pun. Remember? His name's Richard after all. As for the edit, yeaaaaaaaa that's pretty irksome. |

I just re-watched it and I barely even noticed that it was dubbed. It doesn't really bother me.
I mean, if it was totally obvious that "jerk" sounded different from the rest of the line I could see how it would be annoying.
