There are quite often references to Buffy on AtS (even when they aired on 2 different networks), but Angel team is nearly not mentioned at all on Buffy. Cordelia's changes, for example, should have been mentioned (I think she should even have been back in one episode). Same thing for Wesley.
What do you think ?

I think it makes some sense that Buffy is mentioned more on Angel than Angel was on Buffy.
Yeah, Buffy does mention her relationship with Angel and Angel is never forgotten. But still, Buffy brought Wesley, Cordelia, and Angel together...so of course they'll reference them. It's where the characters CAME from.
It'd seem sort of weird if Buffy (the character) was obsessed with what was going on with Angel Investigations, especially after Angel told her his business has nothing to do with hers in Angel: Season One.
Also, to me, the reason why Cordelia doesn't come back is because think about it. Buffy and Cordelia never really got a long and the only person Cordelia was truly "friends" with was Harmony, who became a vampire. Although it would have been nice to have Cordelia come back at some time...I don't really think it would have fit in with her character.

Good point, but it would be cool if they found out about Cordy. I would love to see their reaction when they found out that Cordelia became higher power and is now in control of evil/good battle...

well really why buffy people were mentioned on angel more is because angel was the spin off. They wanted to keep that connection, for all the random people who would tune in and not know anything about both shows history. At least thats what I think.
Buffy also had a lot more subplot to go with and adding on whats going on in another city on another show would've been too much stuff going on.

You got a point, tiewashere. But one mention to Cordelia would have been nice at least. But I don't mean Buffy had to be obsessed with Angel & co, just a few references would have pleased me.

i think joss and co. (Angel) wanted to separate themselves from the Joss and co. (buffy) and prove that they have viewers not just because it was a spin off of angel. that's why Sarah Michelle Gellar wasn't in Not Fade Away, she was supposed to be in The Girl in Question, but was filming The Grudge, then they wanted Michelle Trachtenberg, but she was filming Euro Trip, so the settled on Tom Lenk. and SMG told Joss that she could be in the finale and joss said that they've gotten so far without being known as just "That Buffy Spin-Off" and her being in the finale would undo that.
