There were a heck of a lot of bronze singers some good some horrible. I was wondering what everyone’s favorite was.
Mine by a huge margin is Michelle Branch. For one I am a fan of her and 2 goodbye to you seemed to fit the break up of Willow and Tara perfectly

Basically every band that played at The Bronze is on my iPod, I loved the music on the show. The standouts are Sprung Monkey from Welcome to the Hellmouth and Four Star Mary. My least favorite would be, and I'm sorry, Michelle Branch. Like nails to a chalkboard driving a drill into my ears.

I'll agree with you on the nails on the chalkboard-ness of Michelle Branch. Sorry, but she's just not my thing. I have most of the Bronze singers on my ipod too, but my favorites are THC's "Dip" and "Need to Destroy". I also like Aimee Mann's "Pavlov's Bells" that is in Season 7.

I also like Aimee Mann's "Pavlov's Bells" that is in Season 7, for the win! That was a great one. Nice song too, which set the tone very well for the entire episode.
I also liked her comment of: "Man I HATE playing vampire towns" at the end.

SPLENDID. I can't tell you how much I loved that band.
Cibo Matto's appearance was really good though. like that bronze scene is one of my favorites. so sensual.

I enjoyed Cibo Matto and Michelle Branch. Suga Water was an odd but good song, and Goodbye to You was perfect for that episode.

Michelle Branch definitely takes the cake for me. That song, the context, the scenes, EVERYTHING during her song is beautiful and perfect.

Ms. Aimee Mann no doubt. "This Is How It Goes" and "Pavlov's Bell" were both great.
Although Devics, who played in "Crush" when Spike and Dru were at the Bronze, come in at a close second.
And K's Choice who are fantastic, are an even closer third for their appearance in "Doppelgangland". "Virgin State of Mind" was perfect for that episode.

Gotta go with Michelle, every time i watch that last scene of her singing "goodbye to you" as Tara leaves and Spike and Buffy kiss i always get teary. |

I do love Michelle Branch also....I can't listen to Goodbye to You without getting goosebumps, remembering the beautiful scenes and heartbreak  I know they didn't actually perform at the Bronze but I loved Bif Naked's Lucky too. Such a brilliant song, imo. |

The band that does Transylvania Concubine is Rasputinin - I saw them at Faerieworlds in Oregon about 4 years ago. I really liked them. |

I've got the Buffy and Angel cd's of the music, plus the latest soundtrack of the orchestration music.
So difficult to decide on my favourite as I love them all for different reasons.
My most favourites are:
1. Alison Krauss - It doesn't Matter
2. K's Choice - Virgin State of Mind
3. Splendid - Charge
4. Aimee Mann - Pavlov's Bell
5. Velvet Chain - Strong
6. Kim Ferron - Nothing but you
7. Hepburn - I Quit
8. Angie Hart - Blue
And if we could choose a band that played as a band (vs soundtrack) - then I have to say
Bif Naked - Lucky
And I love the song at the Prom - The Sundays - Wild Horses

KELLEY Deal. Not Kim. Because im contrarian like that. Seriously tho, I dont have much use for S7 in general, but the Breeders single handedly elevated the crappy "Him" to one of the better eps for me. Well, that and Buffy with the rocket launcher.
