What Buffyverse alums have you met?

I've met:

Nicholas Brendon- Very nice, cool guy.
Juliet Landau- So nice that it was creepy. Actually talked for a little bit even though the line was long.
Bianca Lawson- Kind of awkward. Didn't say much.
Robia LaMorte- Very nice, kind of in a rush, but she made up for it when I met...
Iyari Limon: No one was in line and she was signing next to Robia and I had a little conversation with both of them. She was extremely nice.

I've also made direct eye contact with Eliza Dushku. Kind of lame, I know, but I mean COME ON! It was Eliza Dushku.

I've never met anybody. I mostly meet authors, musicians. Since I'm not an actress, I don't find myself meeting a lot in that crowd (though I have hung with the Clooneys but that's because we're from the same hometown and George played tennis with my dad). Since I'm so adept with the characters in the show, I would want to meet the people behind the scenes, Joss, Marti, Jane, David(s), etc....especially the writers, if you can't tell. The reason I love the show so much is because of the literary elements in the writing, so I would rather sit down and meet with the writers and creators then with the actors themselves.

Even though I absolutelys swoon over Alyson Hannigan, I could never meet her. I support her career (even though I don't like a certain show and recent movie) not because she WASN'T Willow but because I couldn't/can't connect with the writing. I still buy the DVDs and go to the theatre but those are the only DVDs that are still shrinkwrapped.

I can meet actors from things I do and don't like (though there is one in particular that I would probably violently stab like a sociopathic Wesley circa season 4/5 - wow...that was harsh) but when it comes to something I'm seriously studying like Buffy/Angel?? I couldn't do it. It would take away my mental image of the characters and I would mix the actor/actress or other characters they've played in with what I'm doing.

At one point, I believe I will be able to get there (to meet the actors) and I will probably talk to connections to get me personal sit downs with the actors/actresses but at this point, I would get muddled with my studies. In order to understand the scholarly background, I'll need to have actual sit-downs and not just random meetings/signings or direct eye contact.

For instance, I'm really itching to meet Seth Green...but I don't like the Oz character. He's usually at the cons, so it would be easy to do this...but I have to stay scholarly about this and not jump at the chances. Since the character of Oz is one of my next big projects, I couldn't rush to a con and meet him, or else I could lose some of my critical thinking skills.

I haven't met anyone from the Buffyverse, sadly. Kinda tough when you live in VA and have only been really far west twice (to Texas 9 years ago and Vegas 1 year ago). Only famous person I've met was Greg Grunberg (Heroes, Alias) in Vegas. I'm a fan of his so it was nice to get to meet him. He was extremely nice.

Julie Benz - She was extremely nice. Talked too me for a bit. The entire time I was thinking too myself Im standing here talking to Darla....lol I also got too meet her Husband, he played the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt

Most of my encounters have been sightings-I was lucky enough to go to Paley Fest so Joss, James, and Seth signed autographs for me. I saw Nick and his twin brother at 7-11 (I live in LA) and saw Eliza at a bar on the Sunset Strip.
I have met some people who played small roles. I actually had dinner with Navi Rawat, the girl who palyed Dana in the Angel episode "Damage". She grew up with my wife's friend. A girl that was in the Angel episode "She" used to manage my apartment buliding. She was the redhead girl, I can't remember her character's name.
As for writers, Brian Lynch is the coolest, he shops at the comic store I used to work at. When he started writing "Asylum" we talked about Buffy and Angel and how excited he was to be writing Spike.

I met Seth Green after a live Family Guy performance thing. He was so sweet (one of the best celebs I've met). He stayed after the show and kept signing autographs even though his bodyguards or whatever were trying to get him to leave the stage. I hope I can meet more Buffy alums someday, but I mostly meet musicians. For a 15-year-old I'd say I'm pretty lucky since I've met Nikki Sixx, Alison Sudol (A Fine Frenzy), the BoDeans, and October Fall. I've also met New York Times best-selling author of the "Twilight" series, Stephenie Meyer and comedian from Comedy Central's show "Mind of Mencia", Carlos Mencia. The Buffyverse alums I would most like to meet are Eliza Dushku, Sarah Michelle Gellar, James Marsters, Juliet Landau, Nicholas Brendon, and David Boreanaz.

I have a funny story. I was at the sundance film festival about 4 months ago. I was leaving the place that day to go back to my hotel. I bumped into a lady on the way to my car.. Without paying much attention to her i said "sorry miss". 10 sec later I realized something...I looked behind me again and it was Eliza Dushku! By then i was freaking out. I went back and talked and stuff. It was sweet. Then when I was driving out of the parking lot I saw David Boreanaz on a corner talking on a cell phone, but I didn't get to talk to him.

When I met James Marsters at DragonCon, I got my pic taken with he and Juliet Landau together, and I even got to attend one of James' concerts. It was an awesome experience! He is attending DragonCan again this year, so it looks like I will get to meet him for a second time.

I will also get to meet Jewel Staite and Morena Baccarin. And this point I will have met everyone from the Firefly/Serenity crew excet for Gina Torres and Sean Maher.

I have met Nicholas Brendon Twice. The first time I met him I missed the photo op, which I was really bummed about. So, later on that day I ran into him in the hall and he was with his manager. He asked me if I was having a good time and I said yeah. I asked him if i could a pic with him real quick like with my camera, and i think he would have done it, but his manager was an ass and said no. But Nicky did end up giving me a hug and calling my sweetheart. The second time I met him I made the photo-op. Woohoo!
