man that would've been fun. even now if they did a seperate 8th season away from the comic, and came up with an alternate 8th in animation.
Not like the cast is really all that busy lol, they can spare 30 minutes to do some lines right???

That was so cool. But now I'm really sad that I' not gonna see any more...
When I first heard about the animated series, I was a bit skeptical and thought it would be kinda bad, but now that I've seen that, it wass really great! Thanks so much for posting it.

I'm the one who found the buffy animated episode and i made a thread for it and then someone passed it on to cowboyguy and deleted the thread that i made.
And its interesting that he makes a thread for it without mentioning my name for finding it FIRST.

Ooohhhhhhhh! This is brilliant why did they never make this?! It's all here the Buffy humour, the music and the grumpy Giles from the high school years is back! Did anyone catch that Buffy called the dragon Puff.... thats what I thought Angel's dragon was called in After The Fall but Brian quickly shot me down. lol I have this weird feeling right now, whilst I was watching it. Just seeing more Buffy on our screens is fantastic, I'd never seen it before and it really is a shame that it never got made. It woruld have been a hit. The vamp staking was cool at the beginning. This has made me miss the show more than ever now....I'm going to watch season 2 now.    |

The person who actually deserves credit for sharing this clip with all Buffy fans is TheSnerd. So thank you TheSnerd for posting this on Youtube. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming of enjoying Buffy The Animated Series and not fighting over who gets credit. It was great that Harmindervamp shared this news with everyone in the chatbox yesterday afternoon. I know I really enjoyed watching the video and yes, he was the first one to bring it to the Slayalive site's attention. Though the resulting situation seems like an overblown reaction due to some bruised egos. So yes, Harmindervamp, you brought it to the site which was first deleted due to concerns over copyright infringement. The Administrator reposted the topic once he had decided to host it here despite these concerns and later thanked you once he was made aware of your contribution to sharing the link. End of story, yes? Talk about a mountain out of a mole hill.  |

I wasn't too wild about the idea of an animated series when the word was put out about it, but now that I've seen this I think it would've been great! It would've been the only Saturday morning cartoon I would've watched (if that's when they were going to schedule it).
Willow was THE cutest, when she made those vamp fangs out of her fingers?! I laughed out loud so loudly that the house practically shook. lol. The woman who does Buffy's voice does a good job at it, making it sound a little like SMG, but still like Buffy. But I actually thought that Aly wasn't the one doing Will because it didn't sound like her at first.

It had the game feel to it. I think it. Like when you play CB or the Xbox Buffy game the voices sound like they have [and look] just been stuck onto the picture if you get me? Maybe not:P
Like Simpson's the voices seems to move with the animation it didn't feel like that with the Buffy clip. But I'm sure that was like what the apply clip version? What they would have used to try to get Fox to buy it?
I still loved it though. The Buffy kicking the vamps butt was brilliant.

In an interview Joss said they they had Nick, Aly and Tony come in to a studio to do some voice work. But they do sound a little different, maybe trying to sound a little younger? Don't know. |

This is an awesome find. I had heard that an animated series was being consider at one point, but I had no idea they had actually made any clips and/or episodes. So glad this was shared, I really enjoyed watching it.

hey, lets not give up hope! they could always release the few clips and stuff they did over time.
right.................
also I dont think we should be focusing on who gets credit. in the end its the writers and directors who we should be thanking.
