This thread is all about Fred, the good and bad about her. All I can think of is how wonderful of a character she was. Even though she had to die to let Illyria in the story, I would kill Illyria anyday to get Fred back. Illyria is my second favorite...Fred is my first. The best episodes in season four was when Fred was pretty much the main character im two of them. Fred kicked ass at the end of season four. She was so alone, yet she did it. When she was killed is season five I swore I would not cry...but I was in tears. Her last episode she was in was too much to take in. What she said. Magic Bullet has Fred at her finest.
She was by FAR the prettiest member of Angel inc.
I loved her.
She was so cute.
My fav. Angel character.

Fred and Illyria are both two of my favorite Angel characters ever. I think Fred may be my all-time favorite.

I have to say I liked the second video more, I like the way it transitioned from Wes kissing Fred in S4 to Fred kissing Wes in S5. Fred is one of my all time favorite Joss characters, and her character progression is amazing, second only to Wes.

Awww, I love and adore Fred too. I see a lot of myself in her actually. As much as I hated when she died though, (A Whole in the World makes me Bawl Everytime  ) Illyria is just so bad-ass!! I love her as well but in a different way than I love Fred of course. It is a very very tragic end what happened to our dear Fred and she did not deserve to out that way. |

She was always likable but I prefered her when she was a slightly crazy texan. That disappeared quite quickly.

Fred was so beautiful and such a well played character (kudos Amy!) I was really upset when she was killed off for Illyria but then for Amy as an actress it was brilliant for her career (bad-ass on Alias!!  I really hope we get to see lots of Fred in the comics! Bring her back! Please!!!! |

I agree with the comment about trading Illyria for Fred. I do enjoy both characters, but I love Fred so much more. It was really amazing, though, to see how dynamic Amy could be.
Her death was probably one of the most tragic for me. My heart breaks for Wesley every time I watch Fred die. And even more when Wesley dies and Illyria is Fred again. I was actually talking to a friend about that scene recently and I got choked up just talking about it!
