The fights are getting better! The fights are getting better! Well done episode. The part were Xander reminds everyone about Jenny seems cold yet so true. Giles even seemed to be willing to forgive Angel and wanted to restore his sole. BUffy hates the person she loves most. Now that has got to tear at you. The vamp on fire in the class room was well done I thoght. Even though I know from Angel that what is coming is a fight Angel gets his soul back and everyone lives happily ever after it still has good tenshion. Kendra apears dead. Note sure if it's 100% or not. Part 2 here I come.

I am addicted so bad yet have not watched the end of season 2. Imagine what it will feel like by season 4.

Becoming pt1

The Good;
The glimpses of Liam and Drusilla in their human forms are just too tragic for words, especially Dru. Good scenes with Whistler and of course Kendra back. Angelus' suicide telegram for Buffy (would they allow that post 9/11?). Snyder's chair shortage gag

The Bad;
David's accent. Where is it supposed to be from exactly? Are they after his lucky charms?

Best line;
Spike; "It's a big rock. Can't wait to tell my friends, they don't have a rock this big"

Wheldon Cliches;
Character death; yep, byebye Kendra, making it one recurring character dead every 8 eps or so. A shame to lose her but I think most would agree that Faith is better as both a character and a Slayer
Shot;
Tied up;
Knocked out; yep, Xander, Willow and Giles
Women good/men bad;

Questions and observations;
We get to see pre-Slayer Buffy in LA and a different version of Merrick. In this version Buffy does indeed miss the heart first time out as she later tells Dawn. The 'Do you know what time it is?' line is very clever, the same words as Joyce says in the movie but with a completely different meaning. Presumably Angel as a tramp is following the diner incident in the 70s we later see in season 4 of Angel. Willow once again play's the bashful virgin for comic effect. Whistler's 'puppets' speech is interesting when you consider Jasmine manipulating the Fang Gang over the course of Angel. Willow attempts her first spell.

Letting the fish-people go?

I'm not sure if Buffy had time or ability to be looking for the creatures. Of course, killing them would be ideal for everyones safety, for all we know they won't be satisfied with fish,(eww, "satisfied" with fish).

I used to blame Buffy for not going demon hunting all over the country, but she wanted to have a life, and it's not exactly like I'm a crime fighter myself.

If they had continued to cause trouble, I think would Buffy had done something, but they were gone.

True, but its not clear whether they actually were going to do anything to her-- the creepy coach intended them to, but they killed HIM in the end, which he obviously wasn't expecting. Maybe when out in the ocean they would just eat fish like the other wildlife. They probably only ate a human because they were locked up and given no other food. It seems like they deserve a chance at least to live peacefully (don't forget they were very recently human), and if they attacked anyone else she'd presumably hear about it and do something.
