Paley center has released their own disc with the panel from the Paley reunion, but it also has extras, unlike the Best Buy version.
It's the reunion that had to happen... and it did happen at PALEYFEST08 in Hollywood. Here's the place to get the entire uncut, Paley Center–produced DVD of the event featuring Joss Whedon, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicholas Brendon, James Marsters, Seth Green, Michelle Trachtenberg, and others talking and laughing about this legendary show. This exclusive DVD contains extras you cannot find anywhere else, including backstage video and photos! But it costs too much for me. Ugh, I'm very upset about this. Must-have-special-features! I'm perfectly fine with the Best Buy Exclusive DVD, but if the backstage video is long, amazing and doesn't make its way online, I'll probably have to put this on a list of things I need.

I wouldn't worry, Ethan. Of course they're gonna say "must-have" special features, they wanna sell the DVD. I'm sure they're only "fairly decent, give or take" special features. Probably just actors saying stuff we've heard already. The Best Buy version is just shiny in my eyes.

Ehh, 20 bucks? I don't think I'll pay that much.
I got my Best Buy one and it's just fab in my eyes. Paley prob just jacked up the price so they could get some more money from it and they just added some extra adjectives to the description so rabid Buffy fans like us would buy it. But if someone is gonna buy it, let us all know if there actually are extras on here.
Maybe it'll somehow work its way onto NetFlix? *Goes to snoop about on netflix's website*

It depends. I'll wait and read the reviews on it and see if its worth it. It better not be some scam where they say "40 more minutes of bonus features!" Only to find out that its the janitors or whoever, cleaning and getting ready and in place before the event even starts. That would suck, big time. I do love my Best Buy version, mostly because it was free. I had my five dollar bill in my hand and ready to pay. When I found out it was free, I jumped up and down and praised the Lord. It turned out I had a hole in my pocket so I lost the money. I was pissed, I could have bought myself a $5 foot long sub from Subway.

Sorry to be stupid, but was the Paley the one which has the Buffy reunion panel??
What is on the dvd? Does it show the panel/interviews or what? Is it worth getting? What is this Best Buy version you speak of?

What is this Best Buy version you speak of? The best buy Paley disc is the full un-cut version of the Buffy Reunion panel. I think it has backstage and bonus stuff too. I dont know if it is worth buying as i havnt got it |

I really enjoyed watching it, especially with how the cast members interact, like Michelle and Seth, because they've never worked together on the show but it's like Sarah just worked her way in there to make them friends. It's cute. I loved seeing everyone all grown up |
