In last night's episode, Tracy appeared to have sacrificed herself in order to save Micah. She was then shot by Danko. However, i remembered that there is another "sister". First was Niki, then was Tracy, and then i believe her name is Barbara.
But at the end of the episode, half of Tracy's frozen head is seen possibly winking and shedding one tear...
My theory is that Tracy isn't dead and can reform, just like Adam and Claire. And she drained into a sewer where there is water and i think as long as she is around water that is freezable and she won't melt, she can reform.
what do y'all think?

I think she's dead. I think I read somewhere like an interview or something that Ali Larter was gonna be playing yet ANOTHER character. I could be wrong though.

i think it's that Ali Larter had the POTENTIAL to play yet another character, Barbara, her other triplet... i might be wrong though.

After she was shot they showed her half face... it winked. Makes me think this isn't the last we've seen of Tracy Strauss.

So when she froze and turned into an ice statue, she didn't die? It seemed like that killed her, it even showed her breathe her last icy breath.
But then there was the blink and tear. Maybe she isn't dead...
I am angry, and I am sick of characters dying. Last night made me almost quit this show. It's becoming a circus.

Honestly, I don't know what to think about Tracey's untimely demise. Her "cold snap" was awesome. I figured that she could have controlled what turned to ice and what didn't, I guess she couldn't. She totally redeemed herself, kind of. Are you guys surprised that there wasn't any frozen chunks of blood? I thought that was a little weird. Also, do you think the soldiers that were frozen, died? Danko needs to hurry up and die, I really hate that douche. I thought Sylar took care of him in the last episode, at the very end. I'm so relieved. So she did blink? I thought In was just seeing things!According to IMDB, Ali Carter is appearing as Tracey Strauss again, although I’m not so sure if they have good sources or not. Sorry for this post, being all unorganized and whatnot.

Characters dying is exactly what the show needs. Monday's "Heroes" was Bryan Fuller's return to the series, and he's already shown that he is the only man capable of whipping this series back into shape. Trim the fat and fix the mistakes made (Tracy as a whole, Daphne's too quick relationship with Matt), kill a few characters in good ways, make references to past episodes, make the show actually feel cohesive... and you've got something. That was Monday's episode in a nutshell.
Bryan Fuller just writes good TV, even if what came before in this season was no so good at all.

Tracy is not dead, the blink was added because the creators on the show didn't want to create another death that had no consequences, so they wanted to establish that Tracy wasn't dead from the get-go. She basically gets away into the drain..Fuller basically spoiled part of Tracy's storyline for next season, mentioning that Micah's little speech to her in the parking garage is going to be the kick-start for her to become a better person, a leader of the good guys. So everyone who is pegging Tracy to be a villain now...not so much. Sounds like she's going to come back in a capacity similar to Micah, helping to guide and protect other powered folks. I guess I'm hopeful that Tracy is still alive. I was so upset when they killed off Niki and now with Daphne gone for good I really don't want to see more people die (except Danko). I really like Ali Larter and I'd rather stick with Tracy's character and see her grow then have Ali take on a new character that we know nothing about. Here's to hoping Tracy's got some clever tricks up her sleeve.

I was a fan of Tracy when she first appeared and absolutely hated when she suddenly flipped a switch and became "bad" with Arthur Petrelli. That was just bad writing. It seems now that we will be getting the old Tracy back, and it will be interesting to see what happens with that. |

Yeah I thought the entire scene was filmed extremely well. The zoom in to Tracy as she used her ability, Micah running in slow-mo, Danko shooting Tracy at point blank range. Really well crafted.
