Great episode, though I wasn't impressed as much as I thought I might've been. I really wanna find out where the Others are taking Kate and Sayid. I also have a bad feeling that Jin, Desmond and Michael get blown up by all the explosives in the freighter. I was so happy when Sun stood up to her father and said that she has control over him since she nowowns more of the company than he does. I'm also glad that Jack knows Claire was his sister, I just hope her mother doesn't find out that Aaron isn't Kate's baby.
So what did everyone else think?

I wasn't surprised at all by the revelation of the bomb, because I called it last week (tho not here, unfortunately  )--the thing Keamy was strapping to his arm was a heartbeat monitor, connected--via radio transmission--to the bomb. Keamy dies, his heart stops beating, boat goes boom.  And no way did Sun get enough money from Oceanic to buy a controlling interest in her father's company. But since pillars of black smoke don't pick people up and kill them, either, I guess realism went out the window way back in the pilot ep, so what the hell--I'll buy it, I guess.  |

Well you never know about the money, I mean she did have alot of money before she married Jin and I'm assuming she didn't get rid of all of it, plus Oceanic probably gave them alot of money because of all the cover up about the crash

I enjoyed this episode, although not much happened on the actual island. It was basically an episode to get all of the major players (Jack, Sawyer, Kate, Sayid, Locke, Hurley, Ben) over to the Orchid, where I will imagine a large battle will ensue between Keamey and his men. I am guess that the Others are taking Kate and Sayid to the Orchid as well, but who knows. The flash forwards were cool as well, and it was interesting to hear more of what the cover up actually is. I can't wait to find out what forces the O6 to create such an elaborate story though, and i wonder if Ben will have anything to do with that.

A surprisingly slow start to the finale, but I really liked it.
The characters all resonated more for me this episode. Who else suddenly realised they missed Jack/Sawyer scenes? Only a few lines but I found the two more interesting at that point. I love that everybody loves Hurley too haha.
Was quite a slow ending. I expected a huuuuuge revelation and a painful cliffhanger. Oh, I guess it makes the wait less annoying.... but it STILL exists. Lame.

I also loved the scenes with Jack and Sawyer. I'm hoping they stick close together for a little while at least.
I also really loved the scene where Sawyer tells Jack that Claire ran off. Just the way Matthew Fox kind of slumped and was so visibly upset, it really showed how much weight he keeps on his shoulders. He wants to get EVERYONE off the island, so all of these scenes really make his depression post-island stand out that much more.

I really hope Sawyer doesn't die. He doesn't, Kate was talking to him on the phone on a flashforward. Though that makes 9 suvivors not 6, so we're probably going to see more survivors then the Oceanic 6- hence why they needed a story to cover something up. |

She didn't. It's an assumption; because Kate is shown talking to someone in a flashforward and then acting shady. I bet my left testicle it wasn't Sawyer.
I think it was the woman Sawyer screwed (literally as well as conning) and got pregnant before the crash. A flashback showed he had compassion for the kid even though he never wanted to see it. My guess is Sawyer left Kate the task of checking up on them after she got off, as he clearly didn't.
I highly doubt Sawyer is dead. He is way too popular to be killed off. Another guess from me is that he remains on the island in order to look for Claire. We shall see, but I'll bet my right testicle he returns for season 5 lol

I think you're right about who Kate is talking to, it's also the same chick that helped Kate in to talk to her mother and was pawning off fake necklaces when Kate was on the run. I think her name was Cassidy.

Oh yes, forgot about that. People are so intertwined in this show.
As for it being Cassidy; it would explain why Jack was so bothered about Kate talking to them on the phone, because Kate knowing what she was likely telling this woman would be endangering the cover story the O6 have created.
