i want syesha to go home already! i really wanted Carly to at least make it to the last 3. it will come down to the 2 Davids. i'm sure David A will win but i'm still rooting for David C.

I wanted to have the last three be david a, david c, and carly. But syesha has became just as good as carly was, i think so at least. And I'm voting for david a!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David C. vs. David A. David C. deserves to win, but David A. WILL win. David A. has been the winner of American Idol for months now. *buzzer sounds* Simon recently said David C has done more to deserve to win, and I whole-heartedly agree. |

I agree as well. I just think there is no way that David C. can win against Archuleta. I would love to see Cook win, but Archuleta has just such a huge and fierce fanbase of 10-13 year old girls that all believe they will be married to him one day, and will vote furiously for him to win.

The show's becoming too much of a popularity contest now, and Vote for the Worst and the fanbases aren't exactly making the competition fair. |

yay! Syesha's finally gone! i wouldn't mind David A. winning since we already know he will but i wish David C. would win. it's just a popularity contest now. all of the loser Disney channel-lovers in love with the jonas brothers will vote for David A. a million times. but David Cook is more creative and deserves to win.

My money is on Mr. Cook to win! He is ready for the spotlight. Little David is still a little too young to handle the pressure I think.

My money is on David Archuleta to win. I thought he would be the American Idol, when I saw that video of him at ten singing to kelly clarkson. David Cook is okay. I don't think he has a unique sound but he could be good in the studio.

i think David A. had been doing worse but really pulled it together 2night. he's going to win but i think David C. did an amazing job as well.

*SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE INCASE YOU WEST COASTERS ARE BROWSING*
I was very impressed with the finale tonight. Usually these 2 hour affairs are filled with a whole mess of crap and barely any good music, but tonight was definitely an exception. The producers of the show finally got their act together and put together a very entertaining finale.
Had performances by Seal, Donna Summer, Bryan Adams, ZZ Top, Jonas Brothers, One Republic, Jordin Sparks, Carrie Underwood, and George Michael. Other than the Jonas Brothers, every performance was pretty good (ZZ Top and George Michael being the standouts, both were just fantastic).
But the big surprise of the night, David Cook wins with 56% of the vote, which I bet NO ONE was expecting. I certainly wasn't. I wanted Cook to win, but I was 100% sure that Archuleta was going to win, but congrats to David Cook.
Hopefully every finale night can be like this from now on. /thumbs up

Next season they're cutting back on the results show, so instead of an hour long result show it'll be 30 minutes. And Wyndam, the win was expected  |

It was one of the best finale in a long time. I was completely surprised by the David C. win but by the end of the night and all his performances, It felt well deserved. His reaction was priceless. I'm sure they will both have great success in the future. Is everyone ready for So you think you can dance?

Is everyone ready for So you think you can dance? I am. I never thought I'd be interesting in watching a dance show, but that show is insanely entertaining. Plus it's always fun watching people do things that I could never do. |
