Amazing episode, there's so many things to discuss. Like
-Jack and Claire seeing their father. -The engagement of Jack and Kate (which I don't think will last very long since is the first flash-forward they obviously aren't together) -The reason Sun is off the island and Jin isn't. -Sawyer being alive when the Oceanic 6 get off the island, since Jack said "he stayed" -What is going to happen to Claire? -The irony of Jack telling Kate she's not even related to Aaron when he's actually Aaron's uncle.

Was well prepared to be let down on this one. There were some interesting moments but it wasn't a patch on Ben's or Desmond's.
I think the writers have really gone out of their way to make Jack unlikable this season. He was my fav character but his story is getting so tired. On the flip side, I'm also a little bothered just how hard they're working to make Sawyer lovabe. We always knew he had a heart of gold but he's just a pussy now.
Fans of Danielle will probably not like this episode lol.

I love what we've seen from Jack this season. "Future" Jack is obviously marked by weakness, and yet "Present" Jack is still staying strong and trying to save his fellow castaways, it's a really neat dynamic to watch. "Future" Jack is starting to become so unhinged because he wasn't able to complete his "mission" and save everyone, and the Oceanic 6's arrival is shrouded in so much mystery, lies, and deceit, that I can understand completely why he starts going off the deep end.
The stuff with Christian Shepard is really interesting too. I'm so glad he's still around on the show, even if he is just a ghost or figment of Jack's imagination, or Jacob, or whatever he is, but John Terry is just such a great actor.
Really enjoyed this episode.

I'm still wondering what where the children that were kidnapped in the first season are.

I'm still wondering what where the children that were kidnapped in the first season are. They're with the Others. It was shown in a season 3 episode.

Next episode will be better. It's called "Cabin Fever". I almost filled my pants with cake reading that for the first time.

I really thought Jack was going to die from a burst appendix at the end of this one. Which sounds stupid, because, duh, of course he lives and gets off the island--we've already seen that he does. But I thought it would be the way of proving that Hurley was right, and the Oceanic 6 are all actually dead.
Should've known that even if they are, the writers wouldn't give that away for sure so soon...

I don't really know what to think of that ep. I loved the Jate, and the gratious shots of Kate in skimpy underwear (I'm fully aware people as shallow as me shouldn't be watching such a show ) and I think I'm starting to vaguely ship Claire/Sawyer... Though I thought the ending fell a bit flat, and we didn't really learn anything new. And whats the deal with Jack's dad being everywhere? I was hoping for an at least Lost level of reveal (AKA next to nothing with more questions added) but it seemed his existence was a bit pointless. Hopefully that'll get explained later.
