This film can only be described as one of the most controversial films of all time. Directed by legendary gore director Takashi Miike, Ichi The Killer tells a rather abstract story of asian gang wars along with the complicated subject of brainwashing. There's alot about this film I could say, but if I did it would ruin quite a bit of it. All that can really be said about it is that if you're a fan of shock gore style movies that might actually make you laugh alittle here and there, then you will love this one! It maybe inappropriate to most people, but if you feel as though you can handle this type of movie then I HIGHLY recommend you go out and rent it, or buy it, or whatever.

I've always wanted to see this movie, I'm a big fan of horror and suspense movies with lots of blood and gore. I can never seem to find a place to rent this one though.

Yeah, this one is alittle hard to come by. I actually just wound up buying it on dvd since they just released a special edition 2 disc dvd set that actually comes in a fake blood packet lol. But yeah, if you're able to find it, you should definatly check it out! It's something that no horror fan should miss out on.

lol yeah its pretty extreme with the nastiness, but thats kind of the charm of the film too. The fact that it pushes the limits so much makes it almost funny to watch really lol.
