Bones!

Hey All,
first off, sorry if this is in the wrong place, this is like my second post.

So, who hear watches Bones. I know it started over a year ago, possibly more, but i never got a chance to watch it on TV but in the past few days, i have watched every single episode of Season One and am waiting for Season Two Episodes 1-12 to arrive. Im totally addicted. Its so good to watch something that ive never seen before.

Not to mention its been renewed early for a Third Season. SeasonTwo hasnt even finished yet, so thats a good thing. It makes me want to watch it more, knowing that i wont learn to love the show and the characters, only to have it cancelled mid way.

So show your appreciation for Bones here!

I haven't had a chance to catch more than a couple of episodes of Bones, but I really enjoyed them. The entire cast does a wonderful acting job and the stories I caught were very interesting.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this show!

I never thought David Boreanaz was hot on Buffy or Angel, but he's pretty seriously gorgeous on Bones. He's really gotten into shape.

I love the chemistry between David and Emily. David said at last year's Comic Con that he and Emily work for hours on their scenes together with an acting coach. It really pays off, because they seem so natural and fun together.

Sully (Agent Sullivan) isn't very popular with most Bones fans, but I like him. Of course, I'd prefer for Brennan to be with Booth, but the producers and David have said that they will keep Brennan and Booth apart for as long as possible. They don't want to ruin the show by having them get together. People are so freaked that good chemistry will be ruined by the pair having actually a real relationship.

Everyone always points to Moonlighting, but that wasn't ruined by Bruce Willis and Cybil Sheperd getting together. It was ruined by Cybil Sheperd's real life pregnancy and her being away from the show for a long time, so the writers changed the whole tone of the show by having Cybil Sheperd away for months. It was handled very badly.

In the meantime, it's left everyone in Hollywood thinking that if two leads with chemistry on a show get together, it will ruin the show. I don't think that's the case, but DB and producers on the show have said that's what they believe.

So in the meantime, I'm glad Brennan is with Sully. I don't think it will last, though. Fans are pretty vocal about their hatred of him.

I love the Fox official BONES message board. I usually post there each week in the episode discussion.

People from show read the board. David said he looks at it occasionally himself.

LOL. It doesn't surprise me that actors/actresses get online to see what people are saying about them and his or her work. I would be more surprised if they didn't!

But Bones? This show and Veronica Mars are two shows I don't like to miss...and I hate television most of the time. I went for two years without television, and not just to save money. Nothing peaked my interest enough.

Anyways, Bones is great. I can't say much about Sully yet. I don't expect them to put Brennan and Booth together until the very end, if at all. When they know they're going down, they'll throw them together, and I'm almost afraid it'll turn out shotty if this happens. Look at what happened with Ross and Rachel? They get together in the second season, and Friends stayed on for 8 more seasons! Granted, David and Emily have better chemistry, and it's a drama, not comedy...but I have to agree with Maria that not all shows will fall to ruin if the main characters get together.

Maybe they could just get naked and sweaty together...that would be hott. Then, the next morning...they have major awkwards...or at least Booth would. I think Brennan would panic but see it as a way to express her body's natural need for physical, human contact. LOL.

i love this show! but I have missed quite a few episodes due to class.....darn the fact i cant afford TiVo!!!!

oh, well....guess ill just HAVE to buy the seasons to catch up....darn the luck!

Eeep! A Bones thread! I've seen every episode of this show, and it was actaully what inspired me to go watch Buffy and Angel (it being David Boreanaz topless). The characters are really brilliant and the chemistry between Brennan and Booth is just whoah. After a certain event which I better not spoil tht happened in the last episode, I'm desperate for some new episodes, but alas, we have to wait until May.

Yep, we're midway through season 3, the writers strike has delayed any new episodes from showing until May. Is the strike well and truly over then, confirmed by the WGA and everything? I sure hope so, I desperately need some new episodes soon, watching the "Santa in the Slush" over and over again and dying of fangirly joy at THAT scene will eventually lose it's merit.

According to community.tvguide.com/blog-entry/TVGuide-Editors-Blog/Ausiello-Report/Wga-Strike-Favorite/800032698, which I think is the most up to date list around, Bones has four pre-strike episodes left to air scheduled to begin airing April 14. And 2 to 6 additional episodes (hopefully 6 but still not a full season ) are expected to be shot (airdate for those is to be determined).

Can't wait! I started watching Bones when I got season 1 for xmas and now I've caught up with all the episodes that have aired. I absolutely love it. Booth and Brennan are awesome and I love the tension and banter between them, it's funny

Love this show!
Have watched the first two seasons.
Still need to catch up on the 3rd.
It's great to see David back on t.v. again and it's good to see that he can have fame outside of the Buffyverse. Shows his true talent I think.
Booth and Bones make one of the best on screen teams ever!
Plus Hodgins makes it great too! lol

I've only watched the first 6 episodes of Season One, but I love it so far. I'll probably start watching it a lot more as soon as I finish Arrested Development.
