In this new episode, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) absorbs Clark's (Tom Welling) powers and breaks into Lex's (Michael Rosenbaum) safe. She picks up incriminating information and takes it to Lois and Grant (Erica Durance, Michael Cassidy), demanding an expose. Grant refuses, so Lana takes on Lex herself. (8 p.m., CW/Channel 11) MY NAME IS EARL -- The warden (Craig T. Nelson) taps Earl (Jason Lee) to make a video aimed at frightening kids away from crime. Oh, and it has to have an environmental message, too -- governor's orders. (8 p.m., NBC) 30 ROCK -- This new episode is rated PG, for Gore. No, not blood and guts -- Al Gore, the former vice president and latest Nobel Peace Prize winner. He makes an appearance in this episode about the company's efforts to go green. Jack's (Alec Baldwin) contribution is a mascot for the network, who may be the most annoying mascot since Sexual Harassment Panda. (8:30 p.m., NBC) THE DEAL -- Michael Sheen and David Morrissey star as, respectively, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, who reportedly cut a deal in the wake of Labour Party leader John Smith's death that set the nation's course for the next decade. (9 p.m., HBO) -- Compiled by Raymond A. Edel
