Ok, I just got back, and I can tell you, and actually mean it, that this was the greatest movie ever! I have never had so much at a movie thearter before! Has anyone else seen it?

I wasn't too sure about this one. Did you like Sin City? I didn't like that movie so thought I may not like Grindhouse either. But maybe I should give it a chance - what made it so good?
Thanks! I always love reading movie reviews.

I wasn't a big Sin City fan either. I guess this just depends on what type of movies you like. The first movie, Planet Terror, if your a high gore, zombie movie fan, you will love it. There is a lot of gore in Planet Terror, but it's more funny gross then intense gross. The second movie, Death Proof, if you like Quentin Tarantino movies like Pulp Fiction, you will love it. Death Proof isn't really violent, there is one scene pretty high in gore, but not Kill Bill gore, but if you like intense car chases and heavy dialogue, I'm pretty sure you will like it.
I did find Planet Terror more entertaining, but I liked Death Proof better as movie. The thing that made it so good, was the comedy aspect of both of them, there are not ment to be taken seriously, they were both so stupid, but in a good way, and also the way it was made and shot, with the grainy picture and everything, and also the fake HILARIOUS trailers before and between the movies. Great filmmaking!

I loved Grindhouse. I also loved Sin City though. I used to watch these types of horror movies all the time as a kid. Grindhouse totally captured the style of these films and then even added a slight femenist twist on them that I loved. Death Proof was especially cool. And I loved the trailer for "Don't". There were lots of in jokes for horror/genre film fans in here...the biggest being Tom Savini as one of the Sheriffs in Planet Terror...he is like the godfather of modern special effects gore makeup for his awesome work in Dawn of the Dead etc...
I loved Rosario Dawson and Tracy Thoms and that kiwi stunt girl was the COOLEST.

Thanks! I'll have to add this to my netflix queue. I loved Pulp Fiction, so sounds like this might be my cup of tea.
