I can't make my mind up about J-Lo. I like dher dress but I hated it on her.
Her hair looked so bad though and what the fug was up with that accessory!!!

PS: by accessory I mean Mark Antrhony! How hidious is he!!

Buffyfanone, you and I are on the exact same page! I was so scared of Eva Green. I don't know who she is exactly, but she looked like she was auditioning for the horror version of the Adams Family. She scared the bejeebies out of me!




I think that Kirsten Dunst was the second worst dressed. The feathers on the bottom of her dress were so weird!




Jessica Biel looked pretty bad, too. Her frizzy, old lady hair style and the dumpy top of the dress were incredibly unflattering. She's a gorgeous woman, but she looked super plain last night.




Gwyneth Paltrow had a very ill-fitting dress. The top cut her arms and breasts in a weird way and the bottom didn't flatter her legs at all. It never seems like she understands how to make the most of ther figure. This one wasn't as bad as the light pink one she wore a few years back when she won the Oscar that she couldn't fill the top of, but it was awkward looking.

Ok, no one has mentioned her so far... but what was Meryl Streep thinking? I love her as an actress, but my god, how did anyone let her go out of the house looking like that! She said that she "was a size 14", like her 14 Oscar noms. But, no matter what size- NO ONE would look good in that sack she was wearing.
Can someone post a pic? And you'll know what I mean.
Also bad: Kelly Preston (is she preggers again?) Cameron Diaz (what's with that hair color-dark hair is not making her any smarter), Kirsten Dunst (wins the Bjork bird award) and that Eve person (makeup artist should be shot).
I thought Helen Mirren looked amazing.. although I liked her Golden Globe dress better. Jada Pinkett has the most fantastic posture, she can carry off a dress like she had on.

I will track down a picture of Meryl. She did look pretty bad. Also, I am pretty sure she has worn that necklace to the Oscars once before. Maybe it is a good luck charm or something.

Another thing that noone usually mentions....The men.
I want to give a shout out to some of the guys. They all looked pretty good this year. There were no real stand out guys who took a chance with a different look and failed miserably!
Clive owen took the no-tie look and made it work like I have vever seen it work before!!
Leonardo looked amazing as well. I am going to go ahead and give props to the entire cast ofo the departed (even the newly bald Jack!)!

I think Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts (she must be preggers) decided to go with their hair colors for dress inspiration. Nicole: I have red hair, I'll wear red. Naomi: Great idea, I have yellow hair so. yellow dress. Lets go together!

LOL. I actually like Naomi's dress. I wasn't wild for the sleeves but the dress was a pretty color.
I also loved the color of Jessica Biel's dress but I didn't care for the dress itself. Did anyone else knotice that when she was outside on the red carpet, you could see her entire nipple through her dress???

The more I look at it, the more I HATE Beyonce's dress! it makes her look fat! It makes BEYONCE look fat! I think hell just froze over!

She is such a beautiful woman and she looked so AMAZING last year! She wore my favorite dress of the night last year

OMG I hadn't see the shoes!! It does get worse! And posing next to Nicole.. she just looks so tragic! I don't understand how her daughter (who accompanied her) let her leave the house. Meryl is gorgeous.. look at her skin. But, that dress is truly heinous. I was actually hoping she wouldn't win so we were all spared the embarassment of seeing her walk up to the stage in it.

Hahaha! and OUCH! I also love Meryl Streep and she generally looks so elegant. Size 14 or not... you can still do elelgant. That dress is definately NOT elegant.

And hey... I pointed this out in the best dressed... but does anyone else hate the dress Cate Blanchette is wearing?? She usually looks drop dead gorgeous but the dress material looks like a wet suit and that grey/silver does nothing for her peaches and cream complexion.

I don't think that is the dress for her.
I think it is a beautiful dress but nothing will top the yellow gown with the plum belt that she wore last year (when she won). That dress was one of last years best!
