NOTE: This is not a web-based RP, its a tabletop RP using the Eden Studios Buffy game, but I didn't know where else to put it. I just figured I would let the Buffy community in on this experiment I'm running. I've taken six people who had never before seen the show (and one person who had), and put them in the roles of the show characters, playing through the original episodes. We're playing without any kind of a script, just improvisational theatre with each player speaking for their character, and everyone having to react to the shows situations in their own unique ways. Things will turn out differently than they did in the show, I'm sure, and it will be interesting to see how it all turns out. Anyways, here's a link to the Blog (so that I'm not posting in many places every time I update): Buffy: the Vampire Slayer RPG - The New BloodUpdates should be roughly every two weeks (that's how often we're running the game). I hope everyone enjoys this fresh take on these classic tales!

Interesting! So no new posts on the blog yet? Hows the RP going? Especially with non-Buffy watchers this will be a strange game.
Do you meet in person or do in online?

The Buffy RPG is very good. My friend has it and almost all the supplements. I've got the Angel RPG and I intend to buy the Ghosts of Albion RPG on pdf. They all use the same rules system, with minor adjustments, and I really want to have a go at doing a Willow/Tara, William/Tamara cross-over scenario.

Well, sadly, this never took off. People's schedules ended up just getting in the way. It's really a shame, too, since I had a fantastic group - all of them in high school, and with similar personalities to the Scoobies. If a similar situation ever comes up again, I'll jump at the chance. I've still not really gotten to break out the books properly. I did learn one very important thing from the single session I was able to run with these guys, though. In a situation like this, GILES NEEDS TO BE AN NPC. Trying to guide them through the Harvest with no major NPCs was difficult at best.
