We all know that the SCC is not going for another season [sadly] but this does mean Summer could possibly be grabbed up by Whedon. They need some new actives i mean Victor and November are pretty much goners for the Active role so what better actress to have then Summer?? Thoughts?

Somehow, somewhere... I want to see Summer play Catwoman.
But yeah... she'd make a great addition to Dollhouse. Of course, then all the T:SCC fans who are already pissed off at Joss for getting his show renewed while their show got canned, will accuse him of poaching their star. ("Joss got Fox to cancel our show so he could steal Summer back!")
Since Amy Acker probably won't be back as a regular, maybe Summer could take her place in the budget cast.

It'd be awesome if she guest starred, but as far as joining the show, no thanks. Perfectly happy with all the new Whedon stars currently on the show. And besides, I want to see Summer on the big screen nowwwww.  |

Thats actually a great idea. I would love to see her in it. They could put a great storyline there. I doubt that they are going to focus on Echo for every single episode of every single season.

Summer said she had a movie planned if TSCC wasn't renewed, so she'll be doing that. Not to mention her and Joss still need to do THE SERVING GIRL.

Summer would be perfect! She can kick ass and be really sexy at the same time. Also, someone on another came up with the perfect name for her, Foxtrot. That would be amazing because she is a dancer in real life. |

Joss said she's not gonna be an active, though... something about type casting Summer Glau as a role she's played time and time again...
i feel like she would either be the female Topher at another Dollhouse or possibly a handler. but i feel like she'd get very limited time onscreen as a handler...
you know what... Summer Glau really reminds me of Claire Saunders. like the character not amy acker. so maybe she'll be Claire's replacement?

I've never seen Summer in anything (don't shoot me!), but by the discussion we're having, I'm guessing she's a great actress. Anyone wanna give me a comparison to another actress that's similar in acting style?

I don't see how she's like Claire at all.. Just sayin.
Joe, her expertise is ballet so she's used grandly with fight scenes where she can move her body for the fight choreography (is it still called that when it's not dance?). You really should see Serenity.
Also, she was in the Angel episode "Waiting in the Wings." Maybe you saw her in that?
