First off let me say congrats on such a great find. Those are some very nice figures. Now whether you should open the packages or not...well that is a decision that should be left up to you. In the end it all depends on what you plan on doing with them.
If you are serious about never reselling them, then you should take them out and display them. Figures were meant to be played with not kept sealed up forever.
On the other hand if you have doubts about whether you'll want them forever then maybe you should wait. Obviously if you decide to sell them down the line you'll get more money if they are still in the original packaging.
It's a tough call. Personally I opened all the figures I've purchased, with exception to one I plan on selling at some point. It's nice having them all displayed on their little stands. I even pose some of my figures in creative ways. It's fun. But that of course is me. I wish you luck in deciding what to do.

I'd decide on what you want to use them for. Maybe you could check out eBay, see what they're selling for?I swear I've seen the Faith before at my local store and it was selling for a lot less, so I agree with you that the online store is inflating the prices. But maybe you could sell them for that much, you never know.
I always open mine, because I know that I like to display them and put them out. I'd just decide if you'd like to keep them for a long time or if you'd want to resell them in the near future. How many did you get that were already open?

That's an amazing deal! I search Craigslist and I don't find much(perhaps to do with the fact that I live in Pittsburgh? idk.) That's so cool that you got them for that cheap, though. I'm jealous!

I still can't believe you got all those figures for so cheap. Color me green with envy. I have yet to find one Buffy figure in a store and you now have like three.
Anyway, I'm glad you're taking them out of the packaging. They are seriously more fun to look at if they are all set up and displayed for the world to see.

I think you should open them for sure!!! >>> (that way my MOC ones will be worth more with less unopened ones in the world) HA HA HA !!! But really when I was younger I had a lot of them open but lost/broke etc... them all and years later found them all again MOC and I never opened them again, so I don't think you should open them but, each to there own.

You got the 12inch figure for 20 bucks? Plus other stuff? I live in the wrong country.

I would open them except vamp Spike cause he's rarer. I take all mine out, except for anything really rare.

Hmm that's a tough one to call. I agree with the previous posters it depends on what you want to do with them. I would love to keep mine packaged but I'm always tempted too much and open them. It's more to do with space for me though as I really have nowhere to display them all MOC hence why I keep them loose, plus they are fun to look at and re-pose every once in a while lol! They keep there value if you keep them in packaging but downside is you don't get to play with them So I would open the majority depending and maybe only keep a few of the rarer finds or your favourites in their packaging. Your call though, just some helpful advice hopefully

I don't take mine out of the packaging. I mostly have the MAC figures, and don't wanna risk losing anything. Plus the packaging is pretty nice.

Wow - those are fantastic prices. It is difficult to find such a great deal - and you didn't have to pay shipping - which is a bitca as it almost always costs more than the item.
The MOC figures are getting to be expensive. Not so rare since there are always on ebay from someone. The 12" figure is harder to find and much more expensive. If you want to sell them later - leave them in the packaging, or keep the packaging - store it away somewhere and then you can includeit if you sell the item - a little less value, but more than lose on its own.
I too am envious. I would nevrhave thought to see buffy in a garage/yard sale.
