Okay I may be the only one, but I loved their love relationship. They were cute and I don't think the writers got a chance to take advantage of their chemistry cause they ended up on different shows. Sometimes I think people forgot about them as a couple, they had potential.

They were alright together for their time together. But don't you ever think that Xander was a second choice for Cordy. She was bummed out on Angel and went for Xander....or maybe it's just me  I didn't mind them really |

I always wished they had given us a Cordy/Xander reunion. So much happened after they went their separate ways. And they were so great together. It would have been interesting to watch. |

I think that they had a great chemistry, was sad to see it end. If Xander hadn't betrayed Cordy who knows where they might have gone? I think that Xander was really the first boy that Cordy truly opened herself up to. We know she loved him. I think her budding romance with Xander in season 2 is what really started to put her in touch with her softer side. I don't think she ever expected to be betrayed by him, which makes their ending all the more tragic. But I am glad that they were at least able to retain some semblance of friendship by the end of season 3. Xander buying Cordy the prom dress was a really sweet gesture on his part, and I think it provided the closure their relationship needed. I'm glad they got to end on a positive note. I always wished they had reunited again after Cordy moved to LA. That would have been interesting to watch. What would have happened if Cordy had been able to forgive Xander the way Oz forgave Willow? I just don't think they were meant to stay together, what with Cordy going off to LA. But I think they had a good time while it lasted and they had fun together. And unlikely pairing, but they had a spark.

Oh, I loved them together! Xander/Cordy is one of my favorite 'ships. He was the first boy she really opened up to, and you could tell she really did love him (though she probably wasn't IN love with him). Sure, it had it's flaws, but if Xander hadn't betrayed her, who knows where they could be now?
I'm really sad about the fact that they never got a reunion. After Cordelia and Xander's character development on both of the shows, I really think that they could've made it work the second time around...
Oh well. Either way, let's show some Xander/Cordy love! ;D

I just got through watching Buffy season 2 last night. Xander and Cordelia were so adorable they were like a bickering old married couple. Love them more.

Reviving this thread because I don't wanna work! I loved Xander/Cordy and still do. Although it's quite hard because it's so much shorter, in some ways I like Xander/Cordy more than Xander/Anya (probably just because I like Cordy more). Some of the posts above suggest that Cordy never really loved Xander, but to be honest, I would guess the other way around. Xander has clearly been infatuated with Cordelia for years and when he gets her, I think that he is amazed and obviously very happy, but I'm never convinced that he ever really sees her any differently than before they were together. With Cordy, I think this is different - she clearly starts to see Xander in a new way, which I think is a sign that she loves him. I'm not sure if that made any sense, but never mind. One of my favourite Buffy moments in general is the end of "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered": CORDELIA: And you know what? I'll date whoever the hell I wanna date. No matter how lame he is. CORDELIA: Oh, God! Oh, God! XANDER: You're gonna be okay. Just keep walkin'. CORDELIA: Oh, God, what have I done? They're never gonna speak to me again! XANDER: Oh, sure, they are. If it helps, whenever we're around them you and I can fight a lot. CORDELIA: You promise? XANDER: You can pretty much count on it.  |

If there are anymore fans please show your love. present! i really would of liked to see where their relationship could of gone if it weren't for Xander and Willow. sometimes i even think it's worth sacrificing the wonderful relationship between Xander and Anya, just to see what could of been. |

Never have I been so conflicted with loving couple. I'm a huge Willow/Xander shipper, and my heart broke when Willow caught them together, but I also cheered for all the Xander/Cordelia moments. They were so wrong yet so perfect for each other!
