You know, not that I'm a prude or anything, but did Fox/Joss really think they needed nudity to make people watch?
Or are nude shots usual when promoting a new show?

Whenever Fox promotes an Eliza Dushku show they tend to think the best way to advertise it is with sex appeal. When Tru Calling was about to premiere, Fox was running a promo where Eliza was just in a black dress, and it was raining. Had nothing to do with the show. Fox was just counting on people watching because Eliza is hot. The promo is actually really funny...

That ad is hilarious because it literally has NOTHING to do with the show. It's like FOX thinks Buffy was popular because it had sex in it. Erm... no, I dun tink so.
btdubbs, am I the only person who thinks Eliza would be 10x hotter if she had more hips?

I think the 'sex appeal' may have something to do with it, but you have to admit that the style of the photo, and the way they have the lighting, and her pose is awesome.  |

I think those Complex photos are really pretty, actually...my ex-boyfriend never thought she was pretty. Whenever she was on Buffy, he'd comment on how he didn't like her. Which actually made me feel pretty good about myself. Haha.
