Xander and Cordelia: Did They Ever Have Sex?

That's my major question. It just showed them kissing most of the time, but do you think they ever had sex? If not, why wouldn't they?

No because they made it pretty clear that when Xander had sex with Faith, it was pretty much his first time right?

See, that's what I was thinking from The Zeppo. I figured Faith was his first, but I just found it off that he and Cordelia didn't have sex when their relationship was mainly physical. Oh, well. Thanks guys!

I don't think they had sex. Reason being that the show always made it fairly clear when a couple first have sex. Didn't need to show the act, but it was fairly clear to the audience when the event took place.

As for why wouldn't they? Why would anyone wait? To be absolutely sure. I really ge tthe impression that depsite her reputation as a date magnet and having lots of boyfriends, i doubt Cordy had done it either 9although i may be wrong there). It's a momentus decision, and i for one am kinda glad that the show never treatee sex as casual between teh couples, but as something special. It is a romanticised view of sex I'll grant you, but romance aint a bad thing.

She does. I always assumed she meant that she was the friend and that Xander was with her in the car.

Obviously not. Maybe that's a part of why Xander got mad in that scene, because he knew it wasn't him she was talking about.

Yeah I doubt that Cordy's first time was with that demon impregnator loser from Season 1 of AtS. Didn't she imply one time that she had? I think it was with Xander in her car in "Phases". Haven't seen that episode in a while though.

The show takes sex very seriously, particularly when the Scoobies are still in High School. I think they are deliberately vague on the issue of Cordy's sexual practices, saying nothing that could only be interpreted as referring to sex to cover their butts from the moral brigade. I think we'll never know for sure, but that the alternative is that her first time was with the gun-toting demon-pregnancy jackass I prefer to think that she'd popped her cherry by then.

with a show about kids in high school, especially later years, if a character hasn't lost their virginity on camera, 9 times out of 10, it's been done before...

Buffy, Willow, Xander all lost theirs on camera... for Cordelia, Riley, Oz, Tara, Spike Giles, Angel, Joyce, etc. we have to assume (especially for the latter 4) that they have had sex.

I always thought that Cordelia's first time was during that episode. I forgot what she said in that episode but I think she mentioned something about that being her first time. I'll have to check it out later. Even though it seems like she would have had sex before, I could see the "popular, rich cheerleader" to have not had it before. Seems more realistic to me... unless that girl is a whore... and Cordy isn't.
