I haven't decided if I will buy the DVD yet. I have the same feeling I had when I heard of the naughty illegal Buffy fancomics that were shown online for a fee; "Why should I buy it?"
Actually, I would be more willing to pay for that naughty comic...

I'll admit that I gave up on buying the motions comics. Mostly because money has been a little tight. I might by the DVD when it comes out. Which is?

I gave up on buying the motion comics as well. Its going to be an automatic purchase for me when it comes out. So I just didn't see the need to buy it everyweek at $2 a pop for $28 overall. When I can just wait and buy it in January. Didn't see the use in basically buying it twice.
Now, I already know that if I get more amazon vod money, I'm gonna be getting more of them.
For anyone that has watched "No Future For you" part 1, is the Doctor and Rose still in it as a cheap cameo?

I have to say, Faith's VA is pretty good at the acting as well as sounding a bit like Eliza Dushky (again, I don't need the VAs to sound like the original actors as long as the acting is decent). The motion graphics have gotten a bit lazier, though.
Edit: I just noticed that they got Christophe Beck to do some (or possibly all? didn't read all of the credits every time) of the score for this. That's kinda neat.

^^Completely agree.
Faith's va is really good. I almost thought it was Eliza Dushku for a second there. But even not, she does a great job. Its very believable. (Granted all I have seen is the amazon previews for the latest eps. But it was enough to see that it was really good.)
But did anyone else think Robin Wood sounded more like Kevin Sorbo than anything else? DrGreenEvil

On the Blu-ray/dvd combo pack there will be 19 episodes, so, the first 19 issues.. the others will be in another blu-ray/dvd i guess.

It hasn't been confirmed that they'll do more than 19 episodes, so they might not make more if they don't sell well enough.

People start saying that it's good, so maybe I should watch it. Might not be "accurate" and all that, but it would help bring life to the comics. I still feel that comics can be bland compared to TV.

Starting to think these might not be doing that great. 1) They are now back to being $1 on amazon. This might be good though because I can see spending a dollar week. But two dollars just wasn't worth it. 2) Fox hasn't released any stupid/obligatory "Buffy is Back and Bigger than Sliced Bread in these new..." kindof press releases. Might just be waiting to see how the dvd release goes, though. Now granted, we might not be getting word of a second batch because the issues that would make up that batch haven't finished yet. So who knows. But if not, alteast we will have the Buffy/Fray teamup to watch. DrGreenEvil

Actually, the whole "New Future For You" arc has turned out pretty good, imo. I hope they keep going with these.

Got ep 3 today. it was better than ep 2 by far. i thought warren's voice was well suited and gross just like how i feel about the character lol. after seein the dreamspace and ethan mentioning "twilight falling" im thinking the dreamspace/amys spell has a lot to do with how season 8 will end. theres a shot of The Master in there and a lot of high school stuff.

I really hope they end up doing all 40 since they've started. I'm waiting for the DVD release to watch them just because I don't want to buy them twice and would much rather have a physical copy of them to keep.

On a website, I saw a cover of this DVD with Jo Chen versions of Buffy, Willow, and Xander. It also said there were bonus features including interviews with Scott Allie and Joss Whedon.
However, Amazon shows the DVD cover as the same cover for Buffy Season 8 #1 and says it comes with collectible packaging and a reprint of the first issue.
So did I come across a fake DVD cover with fake bonus features? I'm interested in getting the DVD rather than downloading each episode from iTunes, but I wanna know what I'm getting, you know?
