Pencils and Inks for Gabriel's cover, I also re-uploaded the Runge cover as people have been having trouble seeing them: ETA: The Runge covers were using the wrong colour space. I've fixed and they should be fine for everyone now. Also, the date I've seen as provisional for this issue is 25th March, but that is always subject to change of course.

That's a sick cover. The one with the black. It doesn't even bother me that the likeness is off a lot.

Nah, more like quoting my old granny. "These kids today with the way they talk, and they won't stay off my lawn!" It was a fogy moment.
Andy hey, these covers are awesome! Especially the black one and the one with the girl (Dez?) in a cage...

So, I asked this is another thread but with no reply yet...is the overall plot of Aftermath considered canon and apporved by Joss, or is this whole thing not canon?

Joss gave Kelley his approval, it's canon.

Joss gave all the pre-After the Fall comics his "approval", too; that doesn't say anything. And he hasn't been in direct contact with Kelley at all, from what she says.

Nah, Enisy, gotta disagree. Kelley specifically said that Joss gave his approval, which I'm sure they would need to continue using the same numbering. The other writers have always said that Joss's offices get it.

As I said on the DarkHorse S/B thread: Even if we disagree on Joss's approval (or lack thereof), don't you at least concede that it's different for Joss to read, for example, Origin and then find it good enough to declare it canon, and it's different for Joss to declare something canon a priori, even if that "something" ends up having Angel marry Lorne, while Spike flies to the moon and becomes a florist? 'Cause, as has been stated... he has no involvement in the storyline.

'Cause, as has been stated... he has no involvement in the storyline. In this case, I don't think it's different. I believe Joss is giving IDW the blessing to run the ANGEL line, because he's just too busy to work in it. Him looking over the scripts, giving the okay for that to happen, that's all I personally need, because that's all I think we're ever going to get. Because if he's still looking at the plots, he would not approve Angel marrying Lorne or Spike going to the moon. Florist, though, that's up in the air.

Where do you get the impression that he is looking over the scripts? He didn't even do that for Angel: After the Fall, far as I know, and he was way more involved in that.

I said "script," but I meant "plots." I know a lot of people seem to disagree, but from the wording and the fact that the series is continuing the numbering, I don't really think there's any arguing the fact that Joss, himself, approved the plot of "Aftermath."
