Anyone else read these? If you are familiar with the Canadian vampire show ''Blood Ties''(which is an amazing, short lived show), then you might have heard of these books. The books follow Toronto Private Investigator Vicki Nelson on her difficult, dangerous, and strange cases. Along for the ride is Henry Fitzroy, a vampire and the bastard child of King Henry. Also helping her is police Leuitenant Mike Cellucci who has an on and off relationship with Vicki. Vicki was forced off of the police squad due to her imaired vision as a result to retenitis pigmentosa which made her decide to become a P.I. I'm currently reading one of the books and I must say, I love it. It's definetly a more unknown series, being Canadian and all, but it's a great read. And the show is great as well. So I would recommend these books to Vampire fans.(REAL vampire fans though, no ''Twilight'' watered down vampires ) EDIT: Crap, I didn't notice that there was a section fot not Buffy related books, so please move this thread.

I've read a couple of the Tanya Huff books Blood Trail and Blood Price. They're quite good, although I wasn't too keen on the TV series.

Really? I loved the show. Obviously the book has a little more room for violence and vulgarity, but I thought it was a pretty good adaptation.
