With all the possible new Buffy media (reboot & motion comics), I have been thinking about what I'd love to see action figure wize in the future.

First though I have to say...
That I really hope by the time the next Buffy movie, series, whatever comes out that DST has lost the license and someone else picked it up. I nominate Playmates. I'd love a mass market line that looks nice and is still really affordable. I love what the company has done with the Star Trek and Terminator licenses. I could see that format working really well.

A Buffy line I would love the most would be a 3.75 line.
Just to be able to get a whole rush of new characters every wave. Get some accessories and playsets to it. I can just see a baf giant Dawn and monsters.

I honestly think that we're in a crappy position now. DST has milked the Buffy line a lot (with varying results) to the point where I'm not sure any company would feel like there's any new ground to cover. We have things in most scales now, what's left to cover? It appears that Angel as a license isn't seen as finacially worthwhile at all. *sad face*

If the reboot gets off the ground and into theaters, that will spark interest again. Granted, it will be more for the reboot, but still. Its something.
And 3.75 scale hasn't been used for Buffy figures before.

A season 8 figurine collection like what Dark Horse did for Hellboy would be cool. Especially if they were in a 3.75 scale.

Well there's like 8 season 8 promo cards out there.

I think they're pretty cheap too.

Are they the eight promo cards that are part of inkworks Buffy 10th Anniversery set. I have those but I want more lol.

I'd like to see more Season 1-7 12" dolls. I'd like a "A new Man" Giles figure,A Clem Figure,A Dawn figure,and I would LOVE to have a whole Once More With Feeling set. Wishful thinking =[
