hey guys, I decided to take matters into my own hands about the deluxe varient Willows, re-vamped line, & judge wave. I wrote a letter to DST and emailed it to them. Here it is.....
I know they will most likely not produce them, but I thought I'd try to convince them.
p.s. i will keep you guys posted if they write back!!!
Dear Diamond Select Toys,
I am one of the many people who buy and collect the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" figure lines you have produced for years. Recently I found out that with your Deluxe Willow figure line you were meant to produce variant versions of Willow such as "Tough Love", "Halloween", & also "Doppelgangland". I am one of the many very disappointed in the action that you have chosen to not produce these figures. I also am disappointed in the other lines of figures you have dropped such as the "Re-vamped" line, and "The Judge" wave. So me saying this I would like to ask, please make the decision to produce these lines. I would like to remind you the following facts. Fact 1: On November 07, 2007, Dark Horse released the first of "Buffy season 8" comics, which have been tremendously successful. Fact 2: Sideshow collectibles have released a line of “Toned Up” statues including “Once More with Feeing” Buffy, “End of Days” Buffy, “Tough Love” Willow, Dark Willow, and Glory. Sideshow is also in the process of releasing Faith, Spike, & Caleb. Fact 3: Rumor has it that a Buffy the Vampire Slayer film is in the works. Fact 4: Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy, has released a new series you may have heard of called “Dollhouse” this year. Fact 5: Buffy the Vampire Slayer still has 1000’s and 1000’s of loyal fans, such as myself, who would buy these figures right of the bat. With this said, what would be a better time then now to release these figures! I am speaking for the many fans out there that were really looking forward to get these amazing figures you canceled. So please reanalyze r the facts, and think about the profit you will be making, and last think about all the happy people out there when you release the figures. Thank you for your time to read this, and I really hope to see more from your company.
Sincerely,
***** *******
