Willow vs illyria

On the show Illyria, when she was at full power in Fred's shell, powers included super human strength far more greater than most if any character on both series and LIMITED time shifting abilities. All things I'm sure Willow can achieve. Witchcraft is connected to nature and the earth and the earth is pretty much Willow's weapon. She can draw on it's very energy and essence to perform powerful magic. Remeber in her prime, Illyria needed an army to destroy the earth Willow didn't.


Also in in something blue, willow control time 'I don't see the big. He's probably just standing out there, you'll find him in two seconds.' and buffy finds him in 2 seconds........

Plus willow can is connected to everything thoughts and feeling alone willow thoughts could effect the world...

Dark Willow, in my opinion is more powerful then Willow based on the simple fact that she has no other emotion besides fury and wrath. Willow holds back. On the show, Illyria, before her powers where reduced, was looking for her army so she can take over the world. Yea in her prime she was worshiped but she was also arrogant and that lead to her demise. Willow reminds me alot like the Phoenix. Her power is nearly limitless. mentioned the axe shattering when it hit Illyria's skull. Willow took an axe too before. It didn't shatter but she got up like it was nothing

dark willow was going to destroy the world becasue she was connected with everthing and everybody feeling and after xander made dark willow into a good guy she is still connected with everything and everybody feeling remerber shes felt the hellmouth moving and in season 7 ep same place and same time she thought of a spell and it happened in her mind.


Spoiler - Highlight to view:and angel agter the fall issue 15 when Angel uses Betta George to channel Wesley’s and Spike’s memories and presumably emotions about Fred into Illyria’s mind willow can control minds and travel emotion and travel her dream space find her nightmare and her nightmare were fred!!(Buffy #4 when willow made buffy travel amys dreamspace and actually be her mother cuz that amys nightmare , and that give them time to throw a gernade)so willow can do that to illyria a buffy army can kill her when she was confused

Okay, that was a whole heap of rabble that didn't make much sense. Try structuring your sentences and make them a whole lot clearer cuz I'm not quite sure what exactly you're talking about, but I know it has something to do with Illyria and Dark Willow

Now that one is debatable. If Illyria was in her true form, she be able to crush Glory. In human form, but with full powers, it'd be a close one

Historically speaking, that doesn't sound quite right. Illyria's a pure demon (one of the Old Ones - only thing we know of that's older than them is the First Evil), Glory's a... god of some sort. (It's been a while since I've rewatched S5, was it ever fully explained what Glory actually was?)

Either way, Illyria's got humanity in her now so her ambitions are slowly depressing, and Willow would need to have a damn good reason to use dark magic to fight Illyria (especially considering the slight but discernible connection she had with Fred in Angel S3 and 4), so... I'm calling this a draw.

A hell-God. I think.

Of course, we don't know if Gods are more powerful than Old Ones. There must be lots of different Old Ones and Gods, of different strength.

You know, just because Glory was a God in her dimension doesn't mean she could kick Thors or Zeus ass.

We'd definitely need some way to compare the strengths of the Gods and the strengths of the Old Ones before deciding for sure. As for Willow... it's difficult to really measure her strength, at least for me. She's very much connected with the world, but I often wonder if she intentionally holds herself back from the darkest of darks because of what happened before. That's why I say that Illyria would have to really tick Willow off if we were to get a full-strength uber-kickin' Willow to fight.

I think she could. In the end of season 6, she drew magic into her. I think some of it stayed, but a lot left, which means it's likely she could contain all that magic again and maybe more.

Maybe she could contain enough magic to kick Glory and Illyria's asses, even if they were in their true forms(because Glory on this planet, in a human body, is probably weaker than her past form).

I kinda think it should stay that way too. Gods in mythology and/or religeon are often depicted as creating the earth, or having infinite power... Glory were beyond what even her compatriot hell gods could conceive off becasue she was stronger then them...Glory and her other hell god ruled over the powerfulest hell dimension.........Glory true form we do not know but illyria we seen half off her identity.....

You are forgetting she screamed at a GOD.GOD OSIRIS , Devastated and angry, Willow banishes the god with a violent, powerful scream......

Where does it say she was stronger and that they ruled in the most powerful hell dimension?

I'm not sure she banished him. She might just have ... power-sucked him?

But since she was the one who called on him, I guess she could have "made him go home".

I found it interesting that it never came back for revenge.(I guess I'm comparing that God to the greek Gods, which I shouldn't, since I don't know if the Egyptian Gods are more "childish" and vengeful than the Egyptian Gods.)

Agreed 100%... it all depends if we're talking pre or post power depletion.
