I bought the DVD yesterday and I started watching the season over. I just finished "Grey Hour" and I realized we never found out why Alpha remote-wiped Echo during her engagement. It's now the end of the season, and I still have no idea why Alpha would do that. Was he trying to make her evolve faster? Even if he was, it wouldn't affect his ultimate agenda at all in making a composite Echo. Having her evolve had nothing to do with his plans for her.

Also, in "The Target", Adelle concludes that it was Alpha that hired the hunter to hunt down Echo. Why would Alpha want her to be killed? Or why would he want her to be in danger? Was he just testing her?

There might be an obvious answer to all this but I haven't caught it so could anyone help?

I was never sure if the wipe was caused by Alpha or if it was caused by that jerk Dominic trying to prove that she was unstable. Yes, I know that Alpha was supposedly the only one who knew how to do it. I still wouldn't put it passed Dominic to do that. He was out to get her from the beginning.

As for the hunt, I think it is like Wyndam said he was testing her. I also think he wanted her to see some of her past lives, with the spiked drink that made her hallucinate.

I love everything about the character Willow Rosenberg. From her nerdy/geeky/dorky high school days, to her downward spiral into the Magicks and everything in between. I laughed with her, cried with her and felt her pain throughout all 7 seasons. I love her so, and I thank Alyson Hannigan for helping to create such a beautiful character. Never before have I felt such a connection to character.
