If I was going to say best episode rather than my favourite episode I think I'd go for conversations with dead people. I don't know what it is about it but I think it's an amazing episode. i agree. Restless is still my favorite, but Conversations with Dead People has to be in my top 10. I love the score, and the song used in that episode. and i loved seeing one of my favorite super minor characters again, Cassie...even though she really wasn't a ghost she was the first evil.

I once made a list and apparently I love over 20 episodes the most and equally. But I'm just gonna say Dopplegangland cuz no one else has said it yet (I think). Here's some why's:
1. VampWillow 2. Willow as VampWillow 3. Some of my favorite Willow character moments ever 4. "....Bitch!" 5. It has a scene that's equally touching as it is funny (when the Scoobies think Willow is dead, and then realize she isn't). 6. All of the Scoobie's reactions to VampWillow 7. We get a first glimpse at what lolz Anya can provide (although she is oddly normal in this ep...continuity error?) 8. Willow's fuzzy lilac.
Yep.

Doppelgangland is an all time favorite of mine....for all the reasons above. This is definitely the best Willow-centric episode ever! I also have to give props to Aly for being totally amazing at not only playing Willow but Vamp Willow and Willow pretending to be vamp Willow and Vamp Willow pretending to be Willow.....So many Willows in once sentence!....Love IT! ;D

One of my all time favourite episodes of Buffy is Normal Again. I just love the way it makes us question everything that we have come to love and be involved in, and wonder if it is just in fact all a figment of someone's imagination. It always leaves me feeling slightly numb and awed, and also lost in a way, that everything may just be in my mind and not real at all...
For comedy value I love Halloween, Superstar, and Fear Itself.
I also love OMWF, Hush and The Wish.

For me I'd have to say it's Becoming pt 2 even though I have so many tied for first I hate choosing just one, it feels like it would be wrong not to choose this one. When I was a kid my mom gave me Becoming pts 1&2 on video tape and I watched them so many times the tape broke. This episode has some of the most beautiful music I have ever heard in my life- the revamp of the Buffy/Angel theme at the end of the epic fight scene music is amazing. The cue when Buffy guts Angel just makes me cry like nothing else, and then it goes into one of Sarah McLachlan's most heartbreaking songs ever? I mean you can't not tear up for that.
Plus it has the mental image of Buffy and Spike in a band. And Spike going on about happy meals with legs. And of course, the scene with Buffy and Joyce in the kitchen. Seriously guys, tears.

The Body and Conversations with Dead People are two of the best written episodes of the series, IMO.
