I don't really care much for the premise of this episode, but it's Joss' show so it will work.

David Copperfield shit?
That was a decent ep. A lot of little moments that I really liked but as a whole I dont think it was my fav ep. I like that we found out about Viktor, that Siera and Echo seem to have a connection. I also really like that Echo seems to be more aware inside the dollhouse! That is a fun twist. I would love to see an episode without a mission. Just in the dollhouse. maybe after Echo becomes more aware.
Next week looks AWESOME!!!
PS: I really liked Ryans songs! HEHE

I didn't like this episode that much, to be honest...it's a shame, too, because I really wanted to like it. It had its moments, yes (Boyd getting all concerned about Echo's singing, absolutely everything Topher-related, etc.), but I didn't really get invested in it until the last 15 minutes or so. I'm hoping this winds up being one of the worse episodes (and, according to Eliza, the first few episodes are the worst...which is sort of surprising considering how outstanding last week's was.)

That was the best episode yet! I love that Lubov was a doll. I love the Victor and Sierra screen time. It's great too see other dolls! I think Dr. Saunders should've been in the main cast she makes a great presence. The story was pulled in all these different directions and it was better than I thought it would be. I love at the end when Echo motioned to Sierra not to talk because shes knew that Boyd, Claire, and others were watching.
I loved the episode.
I do not like Laurence lol.

I liked the episode. It started off really slow but by the last 20 minutes the episode got a lot better. I liked the ending too.

I really enjoyed this. Liked it more than Ghost but less than The Target. The story was okay, but so far, I think Stage Fright had the most Whedon-esque dialogue, so that made me happy. I laughed more than a few times.
Jordan is probably my favorite persona so far, she was just awesome. "Bitch, you can fire me, but don't think you can take me". Eliza's got some pipes too, that was very surprising. The final showdown was great, I loved what Jordan planned and how full circle it was. Audra was pretty funny at first, but that scene when she was forced to sing was sick, very creepy.
Having read the original script, I sadly knew the Victor/Lubov thing was coming, but was still surprised, really happy there is a male Active in the mix now. The Echo/Sierra stuff in this episode was probably my favorite thing about this episode. Something inside Jordan making her want to protect her "friend", Audra, was very cool. I'm loving how the self-awareness story in the Dollhouse is coming into play, especially Echo and Sierra's final exchange to avoid making Sierra's very annoying handler suspicious. I really want this to be explored for a long, long time.
Paul beating the crap out of Russian-mob people was very cool. I wonder what will be going through his head now that he got shot and what his colleagues will think. Still can't get over how adorable Mellie is.

Episode 3: Stage Fright - Questionnaire Favorite character: Can't really say. Definitely 'Jordan'(Echo), Boyd, Topher, and Claire. Least favorite character: Sierra's Handler. Favorite scene: "You have my number....CALL ME!" and "You can fire me, but bitch...don't think you can take me!" Least favorite scene: I didn't really have a least favorite scene. I enjoyed it all. Biggest surprise: I was in awe with this episode having dialogue from 'Echo'. Thing you saw coming a mile away: Lubov really being Viktor. Bwahaha. Thoughts on Echo's personality: AH-MAZING! Thoughts on this week's engagement: I thought it was interesting and definitely showed Joss' trademark character bulding. Did you enjoy this episode more than the prior one? YES!!!!
There was SOOOO much to enjoy about this episode. Any doubt I had previously has been erased!!!

Pretty good episode. The thing I liked the most was the recycling of lines from the unaired pilot to here; i.e. the little conversation between Ballard and Victor/Lubov the manwhore, and the overall feel of Saunders' conversation with Boyd as they watch Echo. However, I will say that I'm happy that Echo's self-awareness is becoming more and more evident, and the clustering mentality is beginning to show. The way that Echo didn't entirely over-ride her imprint (the protect the diva bit) but still found a way to help her "friend" was intriguing, though the outcome was semi-predictable. It's funny how Saunders was going off on how Echo was only supposed to be assigned to "altruistic" or "romantic" missions; I would say in this case, where she helped a suicidal girl, the altruistic bit got mixed in with the Kevin Costner routine.

Overall, I thought this was episode was pretty good. The added length, thanks to fewer commercials, kept it from being a cookie cutter "crazy fan" episode that some crime procedurals usually have, with the added depth into Rayna's character and how Echo handled the situation in the end. Loved the last act.
Episode 3: Stage Fright - Questionnaire Favorite character: "Jordan," best Echo personality yet.
Least favorite character: Rayna's crazy fan, what a whack job.
Favorite scene: The scene where "Jordan" finds out how unhinged Rayna is (and has been communicating with the crazy fan), awesome dialogue between her and Rayna here. Paul's fight scene was great too.
Least favorite scene: The scene where Rayna's crazy fan shot at the stage. Wasn't a fan of the way the scene was shot.
Biggest surprise: When "Jordan" knocks out Rayna, that was great. Also, I had no idea Eliza could sing so well. She really has an awesome voice.
Thing you saw coming a mile away: Sierra getting kidnapped.
Thoughts on Echo's personality: This personality had a ton of depth, that really developed over the course of the episode, especially when her "must protect Rayna" side kicked in. I loved how fed up with Rayna "Jordan" was by the end of the episode, you could really see the conflict there.

I liked this episode. Still doesn't have the Whedon feel to it (even though there were 2-going-on-3 Whedons involved this week). But, we're still in Fox's half of the season and waiting to get to Joss's half.
I think this was Eliza's best performance so far (although "Target" was a somewhat better episode overall). I laughed when she said "I'm a Southie."
I wonder why Echo shook her head at Sierra at the end, as if to warn her against talking to her. Is there something going on between those two that Echo doesn't want the handlers to suspect?

Episode 3: Stage Fright - QuestionnaireFavorite character: Echo/Jordan, easily. Least favorite character: Ugh, Sierra's handler. We were warned. Favorite scene: The showdown in the risers was very cool. I also liked the scene between Jordan and Rayna in her dressing room. Least favorite scene: Rayna's whining was sort of annoying. Biggest surprise: Paul getting shot, Jordan pushing Rayna off the risers and Echo shaking her head at Sierra. Thing you saw coming a mile away: The fan kidnapping Audra. Thoughts on Echo's personality: Very cool! Probably my favorite so far. Thoughts on this week's engagement: Wasn't that exciting, but still entertaining. Question you want answered most: What's in the attic? Did you enjoy this episode more than the prior one? No, but still great.

Looks like Echo has already moved from being self aware, to knowing she's not supposed to be self-aware and having to conceal the fact.

Okay, time for the survey thingy...
Favorite character: Topher! Least favorite character: Rayna. I don't know, I just didn't like her. Favorite scene: All of the Topher scenes, Boyd's stage fright for Echo, and Jordan's fight on the risers. Least favorite scene: Eh, I wasn't a big fan of most of the Echo/Rayna scenes before the whole killer plot was introduced. They seemed kind of cheesy. And if I ever have to hear Eliza say "DAYUMMM GURRRRRL" like that again I might have to shoot myself in the face. Biggest surprise: Jordan pushing Rayna off the risers, Paul getting shot, Victor being an Active. Thing you saw coming a mile away: I didn't really see much of it coming, to be honest. Thoughts on Echo's personality: Eh, she was alright. I did think it was really cool how they made her protecting Rayna an instinctual thing, though. Thoughts on this week's engagement: I thought it was okay, but it didn't really get good until the end of the episode. Question you want answered most: Don't know. Did you enjoy this episode more than the prior one? Nope.

Ok, did anyone else catch Echo shaking her head at Sierra; it happened when Sierra was walking towards Echo, near the ending of the episode? Also, any ideas on the Attic?

I liked that echo sook her head at siera at the end. it seems like thay are folowing the forumla of ending every episode with a little self awareness, like a moral to the story or what exactly echo took away from her mission!
