So i was thinking we could have our own version of the various awards shows like the Emmy's, Grammy's, etc.

We could call them the SlayAlive Emmy's or something to that effect...

What do y'all think?

actually, that makes sense Just Willow... like best musical score, most dramatic moment, best actor/actress (either all of the Whedonverse shows together or seperate awards for the seperate shows) etc etc etc.

That sounds awesome. We could come up with categories that you could add to the first post, and when we have enough, we'll get a mod to send out massPMs so people will nominate.

I guess we should have favorite show(Firefly, Dollhouse, Angel, Buffy), favorite song sung by actors (OMWF, Doctor Horrible, kareoke moments), funniest scene, funniest character, character who's grown the most, most kick ass character, etcetc.

This could be really fun! But it sounds like a lot of work for someone to run and the mods seem to be so busy considering how much they run for us. Anyone who has the skill and organisation to pull of something like this?

I don't start school until the 31st and after that, I should have at least one hour per day to work on this.

Maybe a Cowboy guy could open up a subboard in SlayChallenges & Contests, next to the award and the scribes board?

Giving award per season could be good too.
The funniest scene, the most developed character, the most annoying scene, but per season instead of per show.

whatever works for everyone else... Skytteflickan88 you could do it or we could share the tasks, it really doesn't matter to me... just give me a list of categories and we could have a nominating process and then voting just like motm.

I'll be gone until Sunday. Hopefully by then we have enough awards and can start to divide them like you suggested. Maybe we should skip my idea of having awards per season. That'd be crazy many.

Well you don't even have to have categories that are specifically Buffy/Angel - you could just apply all the categories to the entire Whedonverse - so it's up the us to nominate from all the shows. Or the categories that CAN be generalised for the Whedonverse should be like "All-time funniest moment" (In the entire Whedonverse) or "Cutest Couple" That kind of thing, becuase it's silly to do that per show and/or exclude Firefly and Dollhouse.

I think Firefly AND Dollhouse should definately be included. If you're going with the specific shows per nominee categories then there should be at least a few categories for each of the Whedon shows.

Yeah, you're right Secret Scoobie. People should nominate from any show they like.

And that sounds good lurcibald. Maybe like that for episodes as well, since there's so much to choose from.
