Which do you?

I don't know about anyone else but whenever I decide to through the series or a particular season there always some episodes that I am tempted or do skip. In Season 1 it's 'Never Kill a Boy on the First Date and in Series 2 it's 'Ted'. It's not that they are bad stories, it's just that I want to skip. On the other hand, there are episodes I love watching over, an example is 'Halloween' in Season 2.

I never do skip any, but I think the two that give me the most thought to are "All The Way" in S6 (especially with OMWF straight after!) and "The Killer in Me". I find both relatively unentertaining.

I never skip eps, I do, however, fast-forward through the Willow/Kennedy love scene in "End of Days" (just can't stand those two together).

I agree with gumgnome, if there was one I was going to skip it would probably be "The Killer in Me." Too much Kennedy/Willow coupleyness.

I would never skip "Ted" though. That and "Bad Eggs" are actually two of my faves from S2. Classic Buffy!

I don't skip, but I tend to fall asleep through episodes such as Amends (I don't like Christmas and I find the whole episode too melodramatic). And I also fastforward, but certainly not the Willow/Kennedy love scene, which was, I believe, in Touched. Oh, and I also tend to sleep through Killed By Death, even though it's creepy.

Oh, I totally skip episodes. I'm a very bad fan. I always skip The Body, because the first time I watched it on TV, it made me so twisted in knots that I couldn't bare to watch it again. Don't get me wrong, it's a great episode, but it's too emotional for me watching Buffy lose her mother. I also skip Living Conditions-- Kathy does a good job being the irritating roommate. So much that I want to leave the room whenever she's on.

^ Oh, I totally forgot, The Body is one I do skip. I've only watched it a handful of times (it's just soooo sad )

Let's see. There's a a few I don't watch because they make me sad.

The Prom, I will remember you, I was made to love you(hate Warren, urgh!), lots of episodes in season 6(Buffy and Spike abusing each other, Willow mind-abusing=depressing), most of season 4 of Angel(Cordy being possessed and Angel mind-violating his friends memories) and Not fade away(Angel killing a demon slave=that jerk broke my heart for the last time. Plus, I think the plan was suicidal)

When my boyfriend and I rewatched the series, we skipped some. We skipped the last three episodes of season 1 - I know, Prophecy Girl! - but that's only cause I lost the disc apparently.

We skipped only season 2 episodes. I believe just Some Assembly Required, Inca Mummy Girl, Reptile Boy, Bad Eggs, and Go Fish. Mostly because I was anxious to start season 3, and really, those episodes do nothing for me, lol. Especially Inca Mummy Girl. And Bad Eggs. When I look back on Buffy, I remember a lot, but not Inca Mummy Girl.

The only episode I really skip is 'I Will Remember You'. Bangel bores me, so I skip it

i really feel like skipping a lot of the season 1 and 2 standalones, but i would never skip Witch, Nightmares, The Puppet Show, Halloween or Ted
i've actually grown some love for Bad Eggs since rewatching it

when i watched through with a friend, about a year ago, we skipped Bad Eggs (because it wouldn't work), Superstar (because he really hates Jonathan), and As You Were (because i really hate Riley)

i don't like skipping episodes anymore though

Wow, can't believe so many dislike I Will Remember You. I love that ep.

Also, Bad Eggs is actually one of my faves (dunno why, I just like it. It's classic Buffy).

And I would never dream of skipping The Prom. Yeah, it tears at my heart, but I love the B/A dance at the end.

Not Fade Away = Love it! Totally epic episode!

I can understand wanting to skip a lot of Angel S4, though (the whole Connor/Cordy hookup makes me cringe). That being said, it really does have its great eps, too. Honestly, the whole Connor/Cordy thing is really my only problem with Angel S4. But that alone make it almost unbearable to watch! Which is unfortunate because there are some really stellar eps there, imo. But honestly, I've only watched this season like 2, maybe 3 times at most. Not like the others that I've watched over and over again.

Speaking of cringe-worthy scenes, the attempted rape scene in Seeing Red Definitely makes me want to fast forward.

I never skip anything from Buffy's second season onward, but I make wretching noises every time Riley is on screen. Ugh.

I also tend to skip some episodes of Angel's first season, unless it has to deal with Wolfram & Hart directly. But then I have to go back and watch them later, because I feel guilty.

Well, I've actually only seen Buffy straight through twice. And I guess the only episode I skipped the second time around was Hell's Bells. It was a well done episode and everything, but I get very attached to characters, and Anya is my second favorite, and I just didn't want to watch Xander break her heart again.
But I did seriously contemplate skipping all the episodes that were heavy in Buffy-Riley romance. Not a fan of Riley.

I've not actually done a complete watch through since last summer, when I made my sister do a Buffy-marathon with me (she became a fan ). So I can't really answer this, but there are several episodes I consider my "go to" eps - those that I prefer to watch over others.

Then there are those that I will avoid... such as several from S1 and S2, off the top of my head, episodes like Bad Eggs, Ted, Go Fish, and anything remotely Bangel-y.

I never skip whole episodes, but I do skip the occasional DVD chapters. Usually during Season 6 and 7 as they bore me the most.

I don't really like to skip eps either. Makes me feel like I am betraying Joss somehow.

I can honestly say that the only ep I skip entirely is The Body. Simply b/c it is just too painful to watch, especially for someone like me who loves the character of Joyce.

Like Wyndam, I don't skip eps all together, but maybe the occasional chapter.

Amends was another episode mentioned on this thread, and I couldn't remember anything about it. I must skip this one a lot too. Anyway, I went back and watched it and it was pretty good, even with all the melodrama. Jenny Calendar/The First was really top notch in this episode. I think I would watch it just for her scenes. In Angel, I skip a lot of season 4 too. (I think the majority of us are wigged out by Cordy/Connor) and then there wasn't anything really special about the Jasmine storyline either, which is sad because I love Gina Torres in Firefly.

I actually think it's one of the greatest episodes of Angel.

But I always cry in the end and curse Angel, so I avoid watching it.
