I wrote this, is it good?
Emily opened her front door and stepped over the threshold. Something wasn't right. It felt too....quiet. She slammed the door shut and walked into the living room. When she plopped on the couch, her waist-length blond hair swirled. Emily had green eyes and long eye-lashes. Emily had been laid off from her job....She hated her boss. She heard a mufffled crash. Emily gasped and tip-toed to the fire place, grabbed the poker, and hurried to crouch behind her couch. She pulled the arm-chair in front of the opening.
The couch's back was at least 2 inches away from the wall, and there was one opening that wasn't covered. There was a little space of the wall that concealed the other side of the couch. Emily heard footsteps coming toward her. She held her breath, but nothing could prepare her for what was about to happen.
"Emily!" Roared her husband, Jake. "I know you're here!" Emily gasped, being unable to hold it in. Jake's footsteps stopped and he leaned over the back of the couch. She screamed and Jake pulled the poker out of her grip and threw it at the fireplace. Jake grabbed her arm and flung her on the ground. About 3 other men grabbed her arms and legs while Jake walked along-side them. They were heading to the basement. The men were struggling under the amount of struggling Emily was doing. "Jake, open the door!" The guy on her left said, since they were all wearing masks, she couldn't tell who they were. They got to the basement door and the 3 men threw her over the threshold and she hit the stairs with an echoing THUD. She rolled down the many stairs and finally hit the floor, unconscious.
Chapter Two:
Emily awoke with a horrible pain in her head. She grunted and sluggishly got up from the ground. She grabbed the stair banister and dragged herself up the steps. When she reached the door, she tried to scream through the door, but nothing came out. "Get her!" Jake yelled! Emily heard a huge commotion and stood up. A woman was screaming....The door opened and the woman was carelessly thrust into Emily and they both fell down to the ground.
She got up and could hear the other woman groaning. "Who are you?" Asked Emily. "I'm Katrina.Who are you?" Emily was speechless. "It's me, Emily!" Emily said. Katrina stopped moving. She was suddenly being hugged as hard as possible. Katrina released Emily."Kat, I am going to try to get them to tell us why they're doing this, okay?" Kat shook her head. "No! I already know why."
"Well, as you know, I was mad at Sarah. So, I took her to California and I left her there. I didn't want to deal with her. I was afraid that is she was still here, I would take out all my anger on other people. And, we got the news that she had passed away only three weeks after that...Jake knew why and how she died. And I guess he finally decided to do something about it.
Emily was speechless. "That's what happened!?" Emily gasped. "Yes! And I am not proud of it!" Kat said. "I'll be right back." Emily said. Emily ran to the stairs and up to the door. "Jake! Open this door! NOW!" She screamed. The door was thrust open and Emily was staring into her husband's face. "What do you want!!" He screamed.
"I know why you're doing this! But, I can tell you that Kat didn't mean to kill Sarah! Kat was too angry, she was blinded by it!" Emily shouted. "Don't scream at me!" Jake shouted, and he punched Emily and she flew through the stair banister and fell a two-story fall onto boxes of book.
Kat was the last thing Emily seen...Kat was running through the door ahead of Jake, and she heard the front door slam and a thud.
Chapter Three:
Emily was still laying on the boxes of books when the window above her broke and Kat's face was looking down at her. "Come on, Emily!" Kat said. She got up and crawled through the window. The sun was warm. She looked around and saw her car, the engine on. Emily and Kat ran to the car and got in. Kat sped away. As they reached Hills Bluff, at 1:00 in the morning, they saw headlights behind them and Jake was staring out of the windshield.
Kat was swerving the car, trying to lose Jake. Jake rammed the back of their car and the car flew over the road banister and they hit the large grass hill. When the car hit the hill, Emily flew out her window and hit the grass, and was rolling down the hill. At the bottom she hit her head on a electric pole.
Kat was screaming as the car was rolling down the hill. The passenger side of the car was dented in and the top of the car was slowly sinking in. The car suddenly stopped and Kat gasped. Her face and arms were scratched, and her arm was bleeding. Kat tried to get the door open...It wouldn't budge. She leaned sideways as far as she could. She kicked the door about 100 times and it finally opened. She fell out and was lying on the ground...Too weak now to get up.
Away from the car, Emily got up, with tremendous effort. She walked to the beat-up car and found Kat on the ground. "Kat!" Emily said. She dropped to her knees and shook Kat. "Kat!" Emily whispered. Emily got up and bent over Kat. She picked her up, with all the effort she had left, and carried her to the road. Where is Jake? Why would he disappear after we crashed? To not get caught at the scene? Emily thought.
A police car was driving down the road. Emily set Kat down and screamed, "HELP! OVER HERE!" She was waving her arms. The car stopped...stared at Kat and Emily, then at the wrecked car. He grabbed his walkie-talkie and asked for an ambulance. "Just wait here, an ambulance will be here very soon. We're going to make sure that you are all right." The officer said.
Emily told the officer what had happened so far. And it was very silenced until the ambulance arrived. Kat was lifted on a stretcher and another Paramedic came to Emily. She said what had happened to her and the paramedic said she would be fine.

1 Year Later:
Jake was arrested, along with his friends. Cat and Emily had adopted two babies. One a girl, Sarah, and one a boy, Jimmie. The children were visiting their Aunt and Uncle's house.
Kat and Emily were sitting on the couch, watching Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Emily and Kat were sure that the horror they encountered a year ago was over. But they were very very wrong.
Jake and his friends burst through the front door. "Get OUT!" Emily screamed. She grabbed the phone and pressed 911. "They're back!" Emily said that and her address before Jake and his friends knew what she was doing. Emily grabbed the poker again and braced herself for Jake. Emily ran towards him and was hitting every inch of him she could reach with the poker, not the sharp end though. Jake grabbed the poker and threw it, he grabbed Emily's arms and held her still. "KAT!" Emily screamed, for Kat was in the bathroom. Emily was screaming, and screaming. And finally, Jake had had enough.
Kat ran out of the bathroom only to be punched by one of Jake's friends. She was being held by the waist.
"Emily! Listen to me!" Jake screamed. When Emily didn't respond, Jake grabbed her head and brought it closer to his. Emily could basically smell the anger. "Why should I listen to you, Jake! Why! After everything you did to me!" Emily screamed. Jake let go of Emily and she quickly got up and ran to the back door. "STOP! Where do you think your going!?" Jake screamed. Jake ran after her and grabbed her ankles. Emily slammed into the ground with a thud. She tried to crawl forward, and had success in freeing one leg. Emily gathered all her strength and kicked Jake square in the middle of his face. He jumped, howling in pain, into the air.
Emily scurried to her feet. She thought that since Jake was in so much pain, and not paying attention, that she could just slip past him. Emily ran full speed, but Jake flung his fist out as she was going by and she fell and hit the floor.
Jake pulled her up roughly and threw her at the cupboards. She grunted in pain and he dragged her up, and threw her through the glass door. Emily hit the floor, and was rained on with sharp shards of glass. Emily jumped up and ran to the back gate.
The gate was locked and Jake was running at her! Emily seen a stool by the gate and put one foot on it. Then she jumped on top of the gate and just as Jake grabbed at her ankle, she fell on the other side.
Emily ran to the sidewalk and seen a police car speeding towards her. Emily gave a sigh of relief and ran towards them car. It stopped...
The policeman rolled down his window. "Are you Emily?" He asked. "Y-yes. That's m-me." Emily managed to say, baring with her excitement of getting Jake in jail. "Get in." The officer said. Emily obeyed.
As they drove to the house, Emily was breathing hard. The officer pulled into the driveway just as someone screamed an ear-splitting scream. "Stay here!" The officer said.
Chapter 4:
Emily followed the policeman inside the house. Jake was hiding behind the door. He reached out and grasped Emily's arm as Emily walked past and slammed her into the wall. Jake grabbed Emily and flung her on the ground. He was on top of her, Screaming at her.
The policeman grabbed Jake and cuffed him. Backup was called. Jake and his friends were sentenced to Jail for at least 5 years.
