Hey so I was going through my external drive and I came upon an old assignment from an AP Literature class I had taken in high school. I was pretty proud of it because it was a vocabulary assignment that included a short story with the words included. Its the first time that vampires had come into my writing so I figured this would be an appropriate place to post it. I've included the definition of the words because reading over it I didn't even remember most of them. Its rather short, only one scene, but I really liked it so I want to know what you think.
(There may be more things posted from off my external, I'm in a sharing mood)

Short Story
As she ran through the trees fighting against the tempestuous autumn wind her only hope was the proliferation of lights as she approached the clearing. Her sublimation of languidness as a noblewoman was abnegated as she barreled through the intertwined branches. Her sumptuous gown being torn with every bound she took. She looked back as she ran to see if she had lost him but as her head returned to face her goal she was stopped by an invisible force. She felt as if all the air had left her lungs and her body had frozen where it stood. At the apotheosis of this petrifying hypothermia she felt a strange pressure at the base of her neck and while her instinct was to cry out his despotism over her forced her to abnegate her consternation. While the contagion took place her senility grew and all the sounds around her became enigmatic. During her submission she felt a strange candor between herself and her sire, causing them to reach an unspoken armistice. As the transformation was carried out her obstinacy towards his kind was replaced with the temerity that comes disconsolately. When she awoke her reward was lucid. While she received no dirge, she would no longer experience the abjection that came with being seen and not heard. She would no longer be confined to the life of taciturn noblewoman, or for that matter to a life at all.
