We all have our favorite season finale episode, but which season do you think had a good premiere.

I don't think any of the Buffy premieres are up to scratch with the rest of their respective series except "Wellcome to the Hellmouth" which is an awesome opener to the show. Rewatching it never gets tired just because we get to see the Scoobies meet each other for the first time!

I don't think any of the Buffy premieres are up to scratch with the rest of their respective series except "Wellcome to the Hellmouth" which is an awesome opener to the show. Rewatching it never gets tired just because we get to see the Scoobies meet each other for the first time! I agree with rewatching "Welcome to the Hellmouth" to see how everyone first met. I don't think I ever get tired of seeing that episode every time I rewatch the series over. |

The Freshman. I loved the change in atmosphere, Sunday was awesome, and it has some of my favorite Buffy and Xander moments.
Lessons and Anne also rock. Welcome to the Hellmouth is good too. I think Bargaining is pretty awful except for a few scenes. Buffy vs Dracula and When She Was Bad are pretty forgettable.

It's so funny, some of these are alright at best, but I can't honestly say I like any of them. It was hard to pick 3, lol.

Buffy vs. Dracula: carries over the theme from "Restless" about the source of the Slayer power, establishing in part the theme for the season. Bargaining: It's a 2-parter of sheer awesome. 'Nuff said. Lessons: I actually feel this one is the strongest; the echoing of the line "it's about power" by Buffy and The First is the simplest and yet most epic way to set up the final season. Love it.  |

I really love them all, but in the end I decided to go with WSWB, Anne, and The Freshman.

I picked Lessons, Buffy vs Dracula, and Anne. I loved the whole First-changey-form thing that happened at the end of the episode. It gives me chills to watch it, and it's really one of my favorite scenes of all time.
Buffy vs Dracula was great, especially to finally introduce/acknowledge Drac. Plus it's the last episode before everything got really weird with Dawn, so rock on with that.
Anne was great to see how damaged Buffy had been after sending Angel to hell but managing to regain herself by being thrown into hell and escaping. Plus the scenes with the Scoobies trying to patrol and failing miserably is rather entertaining.

I picked Welcome to the hell mouth, Anne, and the Bargaining. I love seeing the Scoobies when they where younger and that it just looks so old and different. Anne was funny and is one of the few times that Buffy and the Scoobies are separated from each other. The bargaining is just cool that it's a 2 hores episode, it has the Buffy bot, also it was cool to see how every one was dealing with the loss of Buffy.

At first I was surpised that alot of people were picking Anne. Then I remembered that awesome fight scene when Buffy was in LA. This season premiere had the best fight scene of all others.

I almost want to change my vote from The Freshman, to Lessons. Lessons has one of my fave Giles: Giles: Do you want to be punished? Willow: I want to be Willow. Giles: You are. In the end we all are who we are, no matter how much we may appear to have changed.Plus, Lessons did have that cool sequence of The First changing into all the big bads of previous seasons. Really cool to see all those guys again.  |

lessons is my all time favorite because of the thing at the end with the First and all of the former big bads... i memorized that entire thing and i'm not gonna lie, i do different voices for the different characters.
