Do silly things in the real world remind you of Buffy?
I don't mean the obvious ones, more along the lines of, today I was doing a crossword scratchy and one of the words in there was otter. I laughed for a good full 30 seconds.
Do things like that happen to you to? Or am I just crazy?

otter? i don't get it.... I think that's actually an ANGEL reference. Harmony's secret ingredient for Angel's blood in Season Five is otter blood. Apparently it tastes delicious.

Interesting topic. Maybe this is what you meant by "the obvious ones," but if I'm walking outside and see a stick lying on the ground, or a low-hanging branch on a dead tree, I picture it being used to stake a vampire. I think of them as "Buffy ate my brain" moments.

Anytime someone wears a claddagh ring, I get a flashback. Oh and when people talk about Manchester United. But that tends to not happen so much here.... yeah I don't have any funny ones unfortunately.

Everything reminds me of Buffy. Same here. Both the obvious things and completely weird things.

I think of them as "Buffy ate my brain" moments. Happens to me all the time, last night too actually at a football game. I wasn't the only Buffy fan there and I wasn't the only one that thought it. We started to walk around the track because neither of us understood the game but we saw a few shards of wood and everytime we stepped on it obnoxiously or something to point it out.
