Who are your OTP? (One True Pairing)

Title pretty much says it all. Who are your One True Pairing? For me, it would have to be Angel and Cordelia. I love watching how their relationship just grows and blossoms in Angel 1-3 and 'You're Welcome'. I always have a smile on my face when I watch them interact with each other and feel sadness whenever I watched the last five minutes of 'You're Welcome'. Oh and their love scene in 'Awakening' was hot!
So, who are your OTP? Come and discuss it

Oh man, it's so hard to pick just one. I guess mine would have to be Spike and Dru. I loved their crazy relationship, and how he would go to the ends of the earth to heal her. I always felt Dru never fully appreciated him, but I attributed it to Spike having more humanity in him (once a poet, always a poet), and the fact that she was way off her kilter. And he loved her anyway! There are little instances where you could see her devotion too. I think Angelus mentioned when Spike was wheelbound that Dru fed and bathed him, and Dru even says that vampires can love well if not wisely. (I believe she was referring to Spike, but I wonder if it pained her to see Spike infatuated with Buffy... if she could experience heartbreak too.) I was about 12 or 13 when I Spike and Dru came onto BtVS, and it was the first time I ever thought that love could be something all consuming and passionate. I guess I'll be a Sprusilla shipper for life.

Buffy/Angel
I don't see the appeal of the Spuffy. Ruffy was okay. Nobody lives up to the legacy of B/A though. They are THE couple. One day, I think Joss will bring them back together for good.

Willow/Tara
The sweetest relationship that Willow was in, besides the one with Oz. These two really seemed like they were made for each other. I think Joss will being these two back together too.

Xander/Anya
These two had really good chemistry. I was so excited that they ended up somewhat together before Anya died. I loved Anya! Awh. They were so cute in S5. I wish Anya wouldn't have been cruelly killed off. As much as I'd like, I have a 100% feeling that Joss WON'T bring these two together. ):

Well, Angel/Buffy is obvious a OTP, they have such a forbidden and unattainable love that its totally depressing to think about. But another one I like was maybe Xander and Anya. If Anya hadn't died, I think they would have reconsiled after "Chosen" and started over again in their relationship.
Now as much as I love Tara, my jury is still out on Willow/Tara being an OTP. See I've kinda differentiated Willow into to people: Willow before relapse and the Willow after relapse. Now if Tara never died, I think that Willow and her would've stayed together forever and all that jazz. But if Tara died, then brought back to life in season 8 or something, I don't think the relationship would work out. Willow got so dark after her relapse and lost a lot of her original personality that made her who she is and I don't think Tara and her would mesh well anymore. And then there's the issue of Kennedy but I just don't seeing it happen ever.

My second OTP would be Spike and Illyria. Definitely. I just love the chemistry between them during the last half of season 5 and I absolutely love Spike: After the Fall, especially their kiss in issue 3. Also, there is a lot of unresolved stuff between them at the end of After the Fall and I'm interested in seeing where it goes in ANGEL and SPIKE. Yeah, I just love Spillyria cuz they seem to complement each other well

Buffy and Spike FOREVER! #1

Angel and Darla - Rather they were evil, vampires, human or whatever I really just loved that pairing.

Xander and Cordelia - I'm one of the lesser few thats roots for them and have fanfic in my head about them

Willow and Tara - I actually do truly believe that they were each others soulmates and Willow probably did love her more than anyone else. Now I'm just judging on how Willow as a character act. I still preferred her with Oz though. I can't help it. I love him more than Tara.

Wesley and Fred - They were adorable when they finally officially got together.

I'm sorry I know you said one, but I tend to Ramble.

Lol, it's fine to ramble, as long as you point out your number one. I also like Connor/Dawn, Buffy/Spike, Xander/Anya, Wesley/Lilah, Wesley/Faith, Xander/Willow and Willow/Oz

Angel and Cordelia: I love the two together, I still want them together. I want her to fall from heaven (immoral being or not) to be with him. Or I want Angel to die and Cordelia to take him to another plane of existence (heaven) to sent everlastingly existence together. (that is how I want the cannon comic to end, with Joss Whedon.)

Then I worship the doomed love of Wesley and Fred, and always enjoyed the depression of Buffy and Angel.

Willow and Oz to the end; fiercely (but not aggressively!) my one true ultimate pairing. They will always be the true soulmates and fated lovers of the Buffyverse for me. For many reasons I could bore you with if so wish to discuss! ...I've spent way too much time thinking about this!

For all of the reasons sosa lola listed above for Xander/Spike. But with Cordelia instead of Spike, which equals win for me.

This would be my list in order from very favourite/OTP to general favourite

• Angel/Cordelia: I love how their friendship blossoms and grows. They should have had their chance, but 'You're Welcome' makes up for that
  
• Spike/Illyria: An interesting couple I love to watch/read
  
• Spike/Buffy: I quite like their relationship and prefer Spike over Angel for Buffy. Season 7 is my favourite season to watch with them
  
• Connor/Dawn: I feel that they would be an interesting couple and would love to see them hang out at least
  
• Xander/Anya: An enjoyable couple, to say the least. They should have gotten married. Should have
  
• Willow/Oz/Tara: I can't decide between Willoz and Twillow. I enjoy them both equally
  
• Angel/Faith: Bad-ass couple. They have quite an unique relationship, both sharing a path of death, darkness and redemption
  
• Giles/Joyce: Band Candy. And that they got along quite well otherwise
  
• Wesley/Fred: Cute couple. Pity their relationship didn't last long, but for what we had of them, it was nice

Oh man, this is a hard choice for me. Buuuuuut...

Spike and Buffy. I know that there are many different faults to their relationship, but there were so many things that allowed them to be passionate for one another. They had such an angsty-sexual chemistry, right from the get-go, when they're fighting each other in School Hard. They went in and out of each other's lives, but they were able to be in sync, really starting in Season 5. Spike really tried to become a good man, even sans soul. He did so many good and righteous things, just for her, always for her. He went to Africa (albeit, very quickly on that motorcycle), to get his soul for her, to better her life. He always constantly loved her and made sure that she knew it. She just realized it at too late of a point, I say.

But my second choice (and very close, at that) is Angel and Cordelia . I feel that they were able to grow so well as friends, but in a mature way. She was able to understand his decisions and pretty much everything in his life, in a way that Buffy wasn't able to. I could ramble on forever about their perfect pairing, but it was tragic at its end, and that made it so much better.

Mine is Spike/Fred, hands down. I've wanted it since the summer following the end of BtVS Season 7...and it came so close in AtS Season 5 and again in the "After the Fall" comic books, but never quite got there. I still hope and pray that someday it'll be canon!
