Here is an "in progress" look at my next drawing. This drawing is a commission and will feature SMG as Buffy. This will also be my most ambitious drawing to date. when finished this drawing will showcase 7 portraits of Buffy from the seven season finales of BTVS. In this scan is Buffy from the episode "Chosen" (season 7) this will be the largest of the 7 portraits and be the center piece of the drawing. Also in this scan is the Season 1 "Prophesy Girl" portrait as you can see the line sketches are very rough and need a lot of refining (which will be done as the other season portraits are sketched in) Many Thanks to Willowswarlock for providing detailed schematics for the Slayer's scythe. This is only one 3rd of the over all drawing size so as you can tell this drawing will be quite large As always constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated so Buffy fans... Please let me know what you think. ;D the next portrait that I will be adding is the Season 3 "Graduation Day" portrait. this portrait will feature a bust portrait of Buffy wearing her red Leather jacket and holding Faith's Jackal Knife

zomg you people are really good at drawing. Do you take it up as a class at college or anything? I really love the drawings. I think the sketchiness of the drawings adds to the effect.

After a brief break; I have resumed working on the 7 Seasons drawing. Here is the latest update... I have added the remaining seasons Portraits and have cleaned up the line drawing and added white highlights. At this stage the drawing is still very rough and some refinements still need to be done on a few of the portrait likenesses, but this is the final layout of all of the portraits for the drawing. As always constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated...So fellow Buffy fans Please let me know what you think (good or bad) ;D :vampirebite:

Thanks for all of feedback I really appreciate everyone's comments more than I can express. Here is an update for the drawing. I have decided to do each portrait in season order...so the first portrait that I am working on is Prophesy Girl Buffy from season 1. In this scan I have worked on refining the likeness of the portrait and have started blocking in the colors of the Prom dress and background... I am only showing the section of the drawing that I am working on since this drawing is much larger than my usual drawings. It takes 6 scans all stitched together to scan the whole drawing so it would too much of a problem to scan the entire drawing for each update This section still has a lot of work yet but I wanted to get the likeness down before I started working on her crossbow (Now if I can find the crossbow accessory in my accessory box for reference...LOL) As always Constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated so fellow Buffy fans Please let me know what you think (Good or Bad)

As a whole, I love it! I will be sure to buy a print of it, cause it is just simply amazing. The blending really makes the peice, I wasn't to sure at the start on how the pictures would flow but you've captured it really well.
The one slightly iff I have is Restless Buffy. Her skirt looks like its being picked up by the wind, yet her hair shows no indication of movement. I dunno why I picked that out, but it kind of bugged me looking at the close up.
But I think in the overall peice, you don't really notice.

Thanks for all the Awesome comments! They are appreciated and mean a lot to me As a whole, I love it! I will be sure to buy a print of it, cause it is just simply amazing. The blending really makes the peice, I wasn't to sure at the start on how the pictures would flow but you've captured it really well. The one slightly iff I have is Restless Buffy. But I think in the overall peice, you don't really notice. Her hair is actually blowing just a little... look at the area above her ear. it is a slight breeze and the dress is made of a light material so the hair is heavier than the dress that is why the dress is more noticeable...at least that is what I got from the reference photo Here is the next update. In this scan is season 5 Buffy portrait "The Gift". Here is an update scan of the whole drawing so far. The next portrait is "Grave" Buffy which I am in the process of reworking... Here is the revised sketch of the "Grave" Buffy portrait. I have decided to go with a suggestion given to me by Shaz (Msperoxideluv). I am depicting Buffy from the moment where she tells Dawn "I don't want to protect you from the world...I want to show it to you". The buyer and I have decided that this is the pivotal scene in the episode (other than the Yellow crayon Xander/ willow scene) because it is when Buffy decides that she wants to live. When finished I will also include a small subtle tear, I am still not sure of the immediate background... the drawing itself will dictate how it blends in...LOL Personally I like this revised look better than what I had originally...but I want to know what you think. Special Hugs for Shaz for once again being an awesome source of inspiration ;D as always constructive comments and criticisms are welcomed and appreciated...so Please Buffy fans let me know what you think (good or bad)

I really like the updated Season 6 portrait more than the previous one. And everytime I see the full scan, I just automatically stare at CHOSEN buffy and am just shocked at how good it looks!
With THE GIFT Buffy and RESTLESS Buffy, is s5 Buffy's foot behind a small hill of sand? Its kind of hard to tell with the scan being so small.
I'm almost speechless about all of the blending. THe bottom of S3 and the top of S4 Buffys blend together perfectly! And the portraits coming out of the border along each side works extremely well to make this peice look its best.

I am not sure about the positioning of s4 Restless Buffy's foot the reference photo was un clear. I drew it the way it was in the photo. I believe that it is either turned or behind a rock...not sure After a couple of months and many updates I am happy to say that the 7 Season Finales Buffy drawing is now finished. In this drawing I tried to capture the many moods and Looks that Sarah Michelle Geller as Buffy had throughout the series run of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer". I may still go back and tweak a few small details but for all purposes the Drawing is now finished ;D Here is the finished drawing... Constructive criticisms are welcomed and appreciated so Please Buffy fans let me know what you think (good or bad) I would Like to Thank everyone for all of the Awesome comments, Your feedback helped inspire me to finish the drawing. Special Thanks to Browncoat for commissioning the drawing it was a challenge and I hope that you like the results. To Pedro (MAX/Kal-El) , Shaz (Ms Peroxideluv) and Wayne (Willowswarlock) Thanks so much for all your suggestions and help all of which helped me more that I can say ;D
