I have a 360. But the stupid box got the ring of death, agian, It is stupid because of that. I've been to lazy to call Microsoft and tell em' to come and fix it. I bought a PS3 instead. But otherwise it's a great gaming console. The best IMO when it comes to gaming. I have to fix it, Left for dead 2 this month! Ahhh! I just got the RROD on Sunday. If you are in the US then you have to send it out to be fixed. They will give you a UPS label and all that and pay for it. Stupid RROD. I'm there with you! |

Its free if you have RROD,
Microsoft gives you a free fix, thats canny cool, its like having a new x box 360.

nope, my nephew got the RROD and they phoned up and got it sent to Germany to get fixed, and 2 weeks later he got it back

XBL is 100% worth it. I mean $60/year is nothing on a per month cost (and think internet is $30+ a month, cable tv is $50-ish/month etc. etc.).
so $60/year is well worth the cost.
Also yea as other posters have said if you play any online games it greatly extends the playability of games that you probably wouldn't touch again if it was a solely single player experience.
also I use it to keep in touch with friends seeing as we all don't live in the same town anymore (college, work etc. we all moved) but we all have like... call of duty for example so if we get on @ the same time we can join up, play a game together online and chat with each other, catch up, make plans etc.

usually im' playing COD (either WaW nazi zombies or now MW2, L4D2, borderlands).

i think i'm gonna save up some christmas money for price drops on Dragon Age: Origins and L4D2.
Mass Effect 2 release soon! but i'll have to wait a bit until i buy that aswell
