In the show, we had one what-if scenario: What if Buffy never came to Sunnydale.
Now I'm asking you what other what-if scenario you would want to see done in a comic-book or novel or tv special etc.
Here are mine:
What if Dawn had came in from school early and she had received Warren's stray bullet instead of Tara?
What if Angel had decided not to leave at the end of Season 3?
What if Angel had never come back from the Hell Dimension Buffy had sent him?
What if Joyce and Giles had decided to pursue a real relationship after Band Candy?

What if Wood and Giles had suceeded in killing Spike?
What if Faith hadn't accidently killed that guy?
What if Buffy, Faith, Cordelia, Harmony, Willow, Anya, Dawn, Glory, Drusilla, Darla, and Jenny Calendar fell into a pool full of pudding and had to wrestle their way out of it?

What if Angel never got his soul back?
What if Angel did lose his soul when Faith threw the blood on him?
What if the bullet hit Willow instead Tara? (I think I wanna write a fan-fic about that one)
What if it was Angel down in the Hellmouth instead of Spike with the amulet?

Here is a few I can think of: Adding to what Allowat said about Faith if she didn't killed the deputy mayor by mistake and not go on the evil side with the mayor: What if Faith and Buffy were more than friends?  What if Cordelia never left Sunnydale at the end of Season 3 and was able to go to college if it wasn't for her father's mistake in the taxes? What if Dawn never came at the start of season 5? (I think that would make us happy lol) What if Tara never died if Warren didn't shoot careless in the air after shooting Buffy? What if Warren never came in the backyard with the gun? What if Angel never brought the amulet to Sunnydale to give to Buffy which was to be given to Spike? What if Spike never wore the amulet in the battle from within the hellmouth? What if Willow & Kennedy never became a couple? |

What if The Harvest was successful?
What if Xander couldn't revive Buffy in "Prophecy Girl"?
What if Angelus never killed Jenny?
What if Angel and Buffy never "did it"?
What if Drusilla never killed Kendra?
What if Buffy never came back to Sunnydale in "Anne"?
What if Buffy managed to leave again in "Dead Man's Party"?
What if Faith never arrived in Sunnydale?
What if Anyanka killed Giles before he destroyed the amulet in "The Wish"?
What if Willow and Xander never kissed in "Lover's Walk"?
What if Cordelia & Angel never left Sunnydale?
What if Buffy and Riley never had met?
What if Tara and Willow never had met?
What if Xander and Anya never had met?
What if Dawn was never introduced and the monks decided to transfer the key into Buffy, Willow, or Tara?
What if Joyce never had died? How would that affect the later seasons, especially the 7th.
What if Buffy never died in "The Gift"?
What if The Gang never brought Buffy back in Season 6?
What if Giles never left for England?
What if Spike never left for his soul?
What if no one/Willow was shot?
What if Willow never went dark?
What if The First never declared war on the Slayer Line?
What if it was Kennedy who was killed by the Turok Han instead of Annabelle.
What if it was Kit who was the Potential instead of Amanda?
What if Buffy never thought of the idea of changing the Potentials destinys?
What if Spike never wore the amulet?
What if the Fray timeline never existed? (How would that affect the Buffy story)
I realised how big of a list this is.

What if Willow died instead of Tara causing Tara to go all bad witch and basically cave in to becoming the thing she disliked the most. An over zealous magic user.

Personally, I hate "What If" situations but I can think of a couple that I've pondered in my noggin:
What if Tara was resurrected right after the events in the season six finale?
What if Xander and Anya actually gotten married?
What if Jenny Calender never died?
What if Wesley had never gotten his throat slit?
What if Connor had never been taken to the hell dimension?
Okay, the last two are from Angel but whatever!
